HELP, quick send help ive gone all Northern. 😁

I was watching a program this morning while drinking my breakfast tea when an article came on about this Tea room up North in Harrogate and a famous cake they made.
Fat Rascals what a great name.🤭
I have gone on the website and will be ordering some along with some tea.
Its great when you dont know everything and there is still things to learn.

I expect Jack has visited them.

Then I realised in my pocket for Sunday is my CJ Barlow from Sheffield and my Sunday wrist watch is from a watchmaker in Sheffield.

It gets worse...😅 I was listening to The Allmans Brothers then I put on the record next to it.

Which was Be bop Deluxe, Bill Nelson was born in Wakefield.

Then I found I had missed a call from my friend in Oldham who has a very strong accent (his wife's is even stronger).

I am going to lie down its to much 🤣

LOL! 🤣 Hilarious John! 😁 The Yorkshire flu is quite benign, but it'll give you a craving for chip butties, pies, and Henderson's Relish! 🤣 Betty's is very posh, and popular with tourists from overseas. I've only ever been once, and it was at the invitation of Berghaus' media relations people, who had an idea for a breakfast press launch at the annual outdoor trade show in Harrogate. The place I used to stay did a smashing breakfast, which I had already paid for, but I missed it. Then we were only given a small bacon sandwich at Betty's! 😡 There's a nice Blues Bar a few doors from it, I think you'd like 🙂 Interesting about your watch, and it's always a treat to see your CJ Barlow 👍
Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday.View attachment 2277449
Tip top Bob! 😊👍

Old Schrade Walden 124 Serpentine Jack, and predecessor to the 33OT, a 233 Jack.

I really liked the cover of today’s bulletin in church.52FD0876-4E94-4E55-87FA-D8F21BAEA88C.jpeg

1983 Fender Squier Telecaster. Japanese made, i put Fender Custom Shop Blackguard pickups in it, upgraded the controls ~ switch, pots, capacitors, and control plate. Also put in an Electrosocket jack. And I replaced the six saddle bridge with a Fender bridge with vintage style three compensated brass saddles. Since the guitar is a toploader, I drilled and polished six string holes on the back upright.
Minimalist pedal board for going ampless into the board.
Thankfully, we have a very good soundman who helps me get great tone.

Best part of all? Watching my 30 yr old daughter, who has Down Syndrome, play tambourine up there between me and our bass playing pastor.

You all have a blessed Sunday!

Small Stockman Sunday here! Browning Bridger 2418 F3, 440C, walnut, made in Japan. Nice little carry! One of Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley s Exchange offerings. Thanks, Gary!
Can't find a manufacturing date on this. If anyone knows I'd appreciate any info.

Very nice. I need some education on blade names. What is the name and purpose of the tapered blade?
Thanks

Presuming you mean the 86 Harness Jack; it has a punch (or awl) that’s main purpose would we punching holes in leather.

There are a few great threads explaining and show casing the punch/awl and the HJ pattern:

Happy to hear your service went well today. I'm sure music is in the genes.
