My fiance has gotten into the habit of saying, "I can't wait to throw out those shorts when we get married" and other articles of clothing lol. She's a good sport though and will occasionally help me try to score a knife I really want. She's usually not quick enough but it's the effort that counts

Northwoods Esky Zulu. Will we ever see these made again? You never know with Bill Howard. He might bring them back for the owner of the Northwoods brand, Knives Ship Free. However, I have been told that he personally hates this Zulu blade shape and consequently dislikes the pattern. In my opinion, it ranks as one of the top five most beautiful GEC knives ever made. Oh well, different strokes….

Joseph Opinel was a genius.

Cannot argue with that. I use my No.10 almost every day in the garden.
I love the genius of the design.

The better half arrived on a flight from Denver this morning with our seven year old grandson. So I had to swap for a couple of fishing knives for the creek.
