What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I was pleasantly surprised too.😃
Meanwhile, Mitch's knife from drawing, has not traveled very far. ☹️
Crazy isn't it Bob. I must have sent a few hundred parcels across The Pond over the years, but the only time I sent a knife which went missing, it was going to Manchester, just 45 miles away! Mind you, they are a rough bunch over there! :D ;)

Simply gorgeous day out today. Had to go play 😃

Facing the other way is the Missouri River. Two blue herons flew by while I was standing there:

Well served combo Jeff. Oldies rule.👍🏻
Thank you, sir. And thank you for what the mailman brought today!
My friends, as many of you know, Bob is a generous man. He just sent me some nice preamp tubes after I made him promise he wasn’t ever going to need them. With three tube guitar amps to keep healthy, these were nice to receive. Thank you, Mr. Bob!

Yeah, still too early on the corn. (Although we’ve been so dry this year there really isn’t much corn out there 😳) I put the shredder on and had to do a couple lanes and roadsides before the heat hits!
Sorry to hear about your lack of moisture. I hear that due to some absolute deluges in the sourhern part of the state, and in the Chicago metro area, this has been a high total rainfall season for Illinois. But for most of the state, including here, it was a draught year.
Some recent rains may help them recover. I saw the corn literally shoot up a couple of feet in just the last few weeks. We’ll see if it’s enough to make the ears fill out.

You are very welcome Jeff.

The lines and flow of your wharncliffe are just as gorgeous as the scales, what a beauty ❤️👍
Thanks! A gift from JohnDF JohnDF some time back. A 2013 mini tapper with jigged Delrin scales, with a half-stop. Brushed stainless, perfectly centered hollow grind blade, and very sharp. Practically unnoticeable in the pocket. I've taken quite a liking to it!

Bonus weekend shots of grubby/nasty job. The TL-29 was my most faithful companion, along with the mosquitoes who were way less helpful. Thanks again Jeff, she's been pressed into indentured servitude and no time for a make-over currently. I really wanted that radiator core support, they are the first things to rust and it totals these vans which I am obsessed with. Wife has never been to Camdenton Missouri where I grew up, so I told her I was gonna bring it to her 🤣
