I've been carrying my dad's knife. He's been on my mind recently. As a kid, I saw him either using this or a pair of Vise Grip pliers for just about everything on the farm. Twine also. He used lots of twine.

Think I might have a new favorite here. Also one of the worse put-together gecs i have had, but somehow I like it even more for that. It’s hard to explain but fit and finish is just one small thing in a bigger formula that makes up a good knife.
