What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Going to be another hot and very humid day today. Meeting a bunch of guys I used to work with for catfish lunch served family style at Nick's Family Restaurant. Nick's is known for having excellent fish and fried chicken. I look forward to their green beans and slaw almost as much as the fish. I'm sure the beans are canned, but whatever they do to them, they taste homemade. A few of us might play pool after, but we're winging that part. Vic Cadet seems like the perfect carry for a hot, sticky, shorts wearing day DukeGirl.gif🐟

Lovely pair !
Thanks Steve.👍🏻
I really like this Camillus, despite its tininess (3" closed), and I might be lucky to have it. I tried buying a couple knives out of that same $3 bowl Saturday, and the guy said they were both mistakes.

I don't mind the Buck pen knife, but it's too bad about the Case SB Jr in black handles and dark carbon steel with just a slight nick in its edge.
His lose for not treating you well Jer.🫤 Perhaps a visit another time, when he has them still sitting there.
You do have a nice piece of history there.

Thanks Paul, congratulations on your new soupy Barlow :)

K'roo Lamb for me today, and an Imperial Stockman recently gifted to me by Brian @Fixall :)

Going to town today again. Two days in a row to town is unusual for us but I've got a box of Dixie styrofoam cups and sippy type lids waiting to picked up at the Post Office. They make it much easier for me to drink my coffee in the morning but I still use a standard cup sometimes. This might raise some consternation among some of you guys/gals/youngsters but I'm gonna tote my de-modernized ((removed the clip and thumb stud)) Buck 112 Slim Select Ranger to cut up some chow at the Lazy "B" choke and puke joint on the outskirts of town. They've got a mixed together coleslaw, french fries, and pulled pork bar b-q plate but in order to chew/gum it, I've got the cut it up pretty fine in order to eat it. Skipping breakfast in anticipation of a so so lunch.

It’s going to be a beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! Not much on the agenda for today other than the Giants game later. Keeping me company will be the usual lamb and with a nod to trapper Tuesday #48. 😀

The people who own the crushed cars were interviewed on the news and said they had been warning the city for months that the trees (on city property) were in danger of blowing over/coming down/, etc. yet, knowing that a hurricane/tropical storm was coming, they parked right under the tree in in their driveway. Makes you kinda shake your head. All the cars in front of their house parked in the street and along their street were undamaged after the storm passed.

Perhaps they were hoping for a new car on someone else's dime?
