Going to town for a quick trip to the hardware store and something to eat at the Wagon Wheel Cafe. I'll be continuing my well used knife theme by totin this 1979 manufactured Case capped jack while doing chores around the house this afternoon. foregoing breakfast for a sturdy lunch in town.

It’s going to be another warm day here in the City by the Bay! Hit eighty yesterday should get close to that today. Thankfully the fog rolled in over night and cooled things down. Just got back home from taking my brides car in for an oil change. Along for the ride the usual lamb and SAK Solo.

This is an iron bolstered Boker half Congress that belonged to my great grandfather. I found it a week ago when I helped my cousin clean out his mom’s house after she passed. It was stuck in the bottom of a coin jar covered with red rust.

Cleaned it up and put an edge on it. Snaps hard and cuts clean. I still remember him using it to peel apples and cut plug tobacco on his front porch while he told his wild stories from when he was in the merchant marine.
