My dentist just got a new roof. Probably a coincidence that one of her minions called about the same time to schedule something I already told them I wasn't going to have done.

Maybe for tomorrow:

I might have to put my OKC Rat II away until I think I'm old enough to have it. It seems to have given me a lot of minor cuts and stabs in a short time.

New to me Case lockback whittler, from friend from the Porch, thanks again. This one is already a favorite.

Front pocket knife for a while. At least till the blade is seasoned and the action is broken in a bit more. Love it so far but it's bumping out the Boker and may have to alternate between the two.



I ran out of leather for slips and since it was a big bag of scraps im not really sure what the good stuff was. We ordered a few small pieces to try different kinds so hopefully next week I'll have a new slip for it and can stop digging pocket lint out of the pivot every day, lol!

Things are mostly back to normal here today. My son ended up with a cast even though there is no fracture. Apparently it’s a pretty rare injury and there will be a lot more appointments but at least he’s on the road to recovery and no more pain with the hand immobilized.
Anyway, I had a eureka and a Krein fixed blade with me today.
