Taking my cue from
Leslie Tomville
and decided to root out the GEC 15 in stainless. Not only superb finish on these but some very nice deep jigging in a kind of Winterbottom style. Week-end beckons

I have been very lucky to find most of the BF knives over the years , not easy to come by these days , and they fetch a hefty price tagLucky you are to have thatIt's the Forum Knife I really regret missing out on- and not due to my incompetence or lack of cash either, but a Forum admin error
You have some other nice examples too, the 13 is a very unusual one and I'm very glad to have it.
Thanks, Will
Thanks Will.Corto_Malt Such riches Yann
The polished Stag looks super, better than Warthog - wonderful examples
Thanks, Will
Classy and classic
Great combo Steve
Many thanks my friendThank you kindly, Jack!!! One Lamb is excellent, but two is amazing![]()
You have a real pair of Aces for your Friday picks; it's also quite a pleasure to see your wonderful TA Davidson Shadow, as well!![]()
Thanks a lot BartThat Davison is always a great choice, Jack
Thanks guys. It’s weird to me the number of times he can fall skateboarding and be fine and then the one that hurts him was at the climbing gym and he doesn’t remember it hurting at the time.

An elegant Anglo-French pairing my friend, and very nicely photographed
Interesting Sheffield pair Bob, who's the maker of the Lamb?Good mornin all. ( that is not my edge!!).View attachment 2299542

Happy NED! (New Engine Day)…It's gonna be a goof off day at home today. Maybe fiddle with our garden tractor. Just got it back yesterday with a new Briggs and Stratton engine in it. Gonna stick with the Case capped jack today. Sausage and pancakes for breakfast.

The garden tractor is quite capable. It moved these two piles of gravel without effort. It also has a grader blade that I use to maintain our driveways and back road.

Sold the old Ford tractor a while back. Came in handy to put our place in and put in the back road but way too much more than we need now.

What a great inheritance!View attachment 2298813
Just recently acquired a few of my grandfathers pocket knives. This one was one of his most carried and used.
I was asleep at the wheel when it came to the Traditional forum when I could have gotten in on the earlier BF knives.Another fine example of the BF knives that have been produced by this group , can’t wait for this years offeringView attachment 2298885
Nice knives, and Ambassadeur!
Keep those rodents out of the house, Frederick! It’s a constant battle hereFriday favorites. Apparently the local rodent population has been enjoying my stump as well, nice and cool on the North side of my tall house.

Love it
I didn’t know that about the acorn/stainless. Wise choice for your Louisiana heat and humidityView attachment 2299199
The uncommon Acorn shield means these GEC knives have stainless steel blades. They are hard to find but very useful when you do.
The heat wave broke, and got you out of the house! The patina shows you’ve been putting the Barlow to workGot out All of Tools For the Day and ended up using every one of them :

Fine old German pocket knife, Rachel!
Oh man. Defeated by a can of kidney beans!Great combo Steve
Many thanks my friend
Thanks a lot BartMy injuries seem to come from very mundane causes, as I get older. I hurt my shoulder in a freak accident wrestling with a can of kidney beans! Had to take a trip to the hospital with Wee Staggy first thing this morning!

It’s amazing what some people consider “sharpening”, isn’t it? Part of the deal when looking for vintage knives.Good mornin all. ( that is not my edge!!).View attachment 2299542
Nice Klein. I was going to ask how you knew it was made by Utica until I saw the KK. I think the several Kleins in my cigar box were made by Camillus, but they’re not marked.Never ending chores to do today and will carry this Utica made Klein TL-29. Hash for breakfast.
