I switched to a Schrade made Craftsman Whittler for Schradurday. And the new GEC is not getting a rest.
These flowers on the hostas are over six feet tall, and really draw the pollen lovers. The bees crawl all the way in, while the hummingbirds just hover and stick in their beaks.

On Thursday, I was sitting in the shade trimming beans and watching the antics of two hummingbirds on those flowers. One kept buzzing the other one, and retreating to the tree by me, then buzzing in again.

Another cool and foggy start to the day in the City by the Bay! Just got back from my weekly pilgrimage to the grocery store. Along for the ride the usual lamb and little SAK. No big plans for the day other than watching the Giants game later.

You’re correct ~ the knife suits me well indeed. This 53 frame is close to perfect imo, and the blades say “Use me!”
