I wish we never strayed from beautiful timeless architecture like this. Modern buildings are so bland nowadays and never lasts longI gave my 15 a light and polish took it to town along with a Vic Bantam.
Lots of tourists around, the light was outstanding at the end of the day.
I was a film extra here with Hugh Grant,Oliver Reed,Emma Samms etc.
The film was called the "Lady and the Highwayman"I was a Cavalier with a musket we arrested Hugh Grant and Lisette Anthony when they left the theatre after a trial.
Its on youtube about 9 minutes in I was in the ground squad, blink and you will miss it.
Big thanks toJonMcD for introducing me to Trestle Pine Knives!!
Arrived a few days ago and has quickly become one of my new "favorites":

Thanks Bob. No termites just a lot of open grain. Not the fanciest wood but good for a work knife.Termites attack that coat?A nice ettrick Bart. I'm always a fan of wood done well.
That’s no fun. Hope you’re feeling better quickly. Thanks Bart, certainly debilitating![]()

Thanks Gary. That is the bright side, it really didn’t disrupt any of his summer activities, just fall baseball which just started.Dandy knife duo, Bart!
Glad the prognosis is good for your son. At least he made it safely through most of the summer before he got the cast to spoil his "back-to-school fun".

Happy birthday Ed!Today is my birthday. I'm eighty (80) years old today. A lot of things have happened during my lifetime and I've traveled all over the world. I'm not doing anything nor going anywhere today. Just having sausage and eggs for breakfast and Cindy is making my favorite - Shepherds Pie for dinner. I have put my pants on and am carrying one of my top favorite knives - Case CV Sowbelly Stockman. You guys/gals/youngsters have a good day.
