Gearing up for about 8 hours of studies for today. Hit and Run is going to hang out for moral support.

Looks like fun reading. I retired a little over two years ago after teaching special education for 42 years. Mostly working with at risk kids with severe social and emotional challenges from elementary to high school. Didn’t learn much out of textbooks that actually helped me in a classroom. It became apparent early on that most of my kids needed a parent-ectamy. I was always amazed at the resilience of kids despite having been horribly abused. So endth the rant. Good luck with your studies.

Thanks brother! I’ve been in a classroom for over a year now and absolutely love it. It’s my second act as I was unhappy with my former career. I LOVE working with these kids. I wish I had known this is what I wanted to do years ago.

Happy Saturday, Porchenburghers!

I'm carrying my Stockyard Whittler for at least through the weekend.
I just can't think of a blade combination that I like better. It's the one that I keep coming back to and carry the most often. Maybe I should pass on this years forum knife and put funds toward picking up a spare. 🤔

Mt Rainier. If it’s clear I see it everyday from my house but with a busy year it’s been my first drive up there.
Nice views.
Thanks for info

That wee little jack that Rufus1949 Rufus1949 gave me is in my little guitar pick pocket.
Very nice.
Are Schrader Walden and Schrader NY the same?
The shields look the same to me.
Thank you
