Wow...Two beauties Steve.
Looks like fun reading. I retired a little over two years ago after teaching special education for 42 years. Mostly working with at risk kids with severe social and emotional challenges from elementary to high school. Didn’t learn much out of textbooks that actually helped me in a classroom. It became apparent early on that most of my kids needed a parent-ectamy. I was always amazed at the resilience of kids despite having been horribly abused. So endth the rant. Good luck with your studies.Gearing up for about 8 hours of studies for today. Hit and Run is going to hang out for moral support.

Thanks brother! I’ve been in a classroom for over a year now and absolutely love it. It’s my second act as I was unhappy with my former career. I LOVE working with these kids. I wish I had known this is what I wanted to do years ago.Looks like fun reading. I retired a little over two years ago after teaching special education for 42 years. Wow! Great pair of knives Steve
I agree with everything you saidHappy Saturday, Porchenburghers!
I'm carrying my Stockyard Whittler for at least through the weekend.
I just can't think of a blade combination that I like better. It's the one that I keep coming back to and carry the most often. Maybe I should pass on this years forum knife and put funds toward picking up a spare.

Always nice to see both sides of a fine knife.I think this one is going to see a lot of carry this season. I carried it a little bit last fall/winter, but think it’s time to get more carry time.
I always have to post both sides.

Nice views.Mt Rainier. If it’s clear I see it everyday from my house but with a busy year it’s been my first drive up there.
Very nice.Schradurday rolls around again. Time sure seems to fly by. My walnut trees are akready starting to shed leaves.View attachment 2315176View attachment 2315175
