The harvester most of the day in the garden, bit dirty now.


So I switched to my new whittler gifted to me by pmek5
The knife is now named T-bone. I name the knives gifted to me, corny but reminds of the person that gave it to me & makes me smile.

Hi Jeff! My only gripe with GEC’s linen is that it is a bit plastic-like for my tastes. It’s as if they used a lot of resin or epoxy and not enough fibers. I do like canvas micarta though and that’s where I feel the material starts to really show its merits. Plus, as you mentioned, it can take on an excellent patina.


I’m working with these two today.

I have to chuckle when I read about a knives battening capabilities, I have used this to disconnect a power supply through 10mm sq armoured cable. It wasnt easy and I had to use a 3lb sledge hammer to beat it through, but it did it.
