What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I hope so, too, Bart. I wonder if his treatment is harder on him than his disease. He's supposed to eat an entire 13 oz. can of the prescribed food every day, and he only weighs 160 oz. So he's supposed to eat food equal in weight to 8% of his body weight. I happen to weigh almost 160 pounds, so if I were prescribed the same kind of diet, I'd have to eat about 13 pounds of food each day. For example, 5 lb bag of potatoes, a 2 lb bag of frozen peas and a 2 lb bag of frozen broccoli, and 16 quarter-pound ground turkey patties. I don't think I could survive consuming that amount of food for very long! o_O

I hope you’re both getting it figured out, Gary. That does seem like an absurd amount of food. I don’t think I’d want to pick up after my dogs if they were both eating that much 😁

It was a rainy day here today and that allowed me to finally get back to my project of making another Walking Stick from a stick that was in an old house that we bought in 1973 . Project was to install a Brass Hames knob which calls for carving the stick for the Hames to fit onto , or into , it . I believe the stick is Mulberry .
Used my old Taylors Eye Witness and the 2019 Forums Knife . Still not finished yet . Due to a curve in the stick , this has been the hardest of the 5 that I have worked on so far .

The stick still has a part of the Vine that grew around it and then the limb started to grow around the vine .

Great display of knives and craftsmanship FC.👍🏻
Why thank you Bob! Did about 9 of those repairs, I'm pretty sure I only want to sit at tables 8 and 9 - don't like looking at every slip of the chisel 😅
Shapleigh Hardware Co& BF #86
That Shapleigh is a very gentlemanly carry sir! And of course you can't go wrong with the Spring Street.
Added a new lanyard and bead to the 47 to try out. The bead was a generous gift from ephsea ephsea - an add on to our 44 deal. Thanks again! I’m liking it with the
Glad to see that bead getting some air along with the 44 👍 They deserved better than the cigar box I had them languishing in, thanks for giving them the life they deserve Jon ;)
sbh06 slip - that is developing a mighty fine patina IMO.
Dunno how quotes did that but okay. In my misguided youth I was bothered by non-shiny things. Nowadays I see a patina like that and think "that's respectable".
A lot to like in this big post, Frederick!
First, I am so glad you like the Camillus TL-29, and have found it useful! I am the same when it comes to tools. I have had too many import hand tools break or bend ~ no more. If I need another tool, I buy second hand Made In USA. (Or England)

Great knives, as usual. I really like that first Jack with the big spear!
And thanks for supporting the practical wonders of Dupont’s Delrin®️!
Thanks Jeff 👋 There are so many used USA made hand tools still available, I only buy the "made in Chian" (actual stamp I found on the underside of a toilet lid I was installing once) stuff as a last resort. When Bethlehem Steel died, it was the death knell for so many other domestic industries. The end of an era, truly.
I'm impressed that you know how to build a guitar! Keep us posted on that? Hope you caught some of this delightful rain!
