Congrats Jon, and well doneYesterdayβs mail floored me. PaulJakeywax31 went overboard and sent me this Beer Scout that I have had on my want list for a long time. Such a generous gift from a great guy. Thanks so much my friend! To my surprise, the box didnβt just have one knifeβ¦but I canβt show that one in this thread (that knife had a hole in the blade, if you know what I mean). Iβll post it in the modern/traditional thread.
Just in time for the weekendβs football games! Whereβs my beerβ¦.

I guess I have four of these, if you count the zytel that I paid 25 for and I think is worth 10. Zytel for confiscation bait, Greensleeves for high holy day Sunday best, Sunnysides for whittling by the pot-bellied stove in the general store, and Bruno for everything else.
LOL!

LOL!My kids used to do Irish dancing, not sure why
My favourite story about the origin of the style is that at one time, the British Crown banned dancing in Ireland, so to avoid arrest, the Irish folk only danced from the waist down, so that when the British Army walked past pub windows, they couldn't tell dancing was going on!
Congratulations Jon, what a great spirit we have hereWell done Paul
Great pic too Jon!![]()
