What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I find a Canadian belt knife transfixes beans with awe, thereby preventing their flight.

Let me re-phrase that, Jer ~ Your Grohmann Canadian Belt Knife transfixes me.
And I’m also transfixed that Grohmann transmogrified their tang stamp, and transposed it upside down!
Thank you Jeff, one of two I was gifted by Paul @Jakeywax31 , along with this Joseph Rodgers Shadow Lamb :)

TGITBT? Seriously I'm always happy when I wake up on Tuesday, because I know I've a date with Blondie here.
No time to chat, gotta get out there and get, it cuz I don't currently have whatever "it" is.
Make it a good one ladies and gents.
That depends on what the definition of “it” is…

I fully intend to make it a good one, Frederick! Nothin’s happened yet.

Aah. There’s that sweet Cammie.🤙😎
And thanks for your compliment, my friend.

Radio Silence…
The cool kids on social media would say you’ve been Ghosting us.
Look what arrived on my doorstep! A 4x4x10 inch block of basswood! Sure hope it’s big enough to make a tactical spatula/spoon combo! 😛

Flamed Linden!
Forget the spoon, and have your supplier cut you a 2” thick slab about 14” x 17”. Make a Telecaster body!
Fender has used that wood quite a lot.
Besides your well developed skill, you’ve got the vision to foresee what a chunk of wood can become.
I shudder to think how long that would take me.
My knives for the day :
Case and Grohmann fixed blades for Nancy and I to cut down the Iris foliage

And I had a TEW and the 2019 BF in my pockets

Great Case belt knife, Harry!
The stick is going to be a standout creation.👌
I am carrying my ne Bunny Forum knife, a gift from a very generous and long-time porch dweller,

Chief Chief

He helped me keep my forum knife string going and I am forever grateful! Happy 25th Forum Anniversary!!

This is a great little Bunny, I can see what all the hubbub was about in the threads here!!

Thanks again, Master Chief, Sir!!View attachment 2343394View attachment 2343393View attachment 2343416
Yes, Chief Chief is a very generous man!
Yet another Porch member I’d like to meet face to face…
Carrying this Joseph Rodgers Shadow Lambsfoot today :)

The shadow pattern, and long pull make that stand out. Did Rodgers always use a long pull?
That there would be my dream knife.Absolutely gorgeous. The 2018 forum knife would check the box if it had the third blade.
I agree. I like all of my Forum knives, but often think the Buck is the best.
I never spey, but when using a Stockman, I use that blade a lot. Sad it doesn’t have one ~ that or a leather punch.
As it is, that missing blade leaves a hole!

Thank you berry much Jeff . I have had that Case fixed blade for a while . I bought it new and have used it rarely but really like the size and blade profile . I also would like to meet Chief Chief face to face as well as a Whole Bunch of other Forum Members who are Too Many to mention .
Still have a few touches to do yet on the Stick . More specifically , I have to get the loose ends of the Vine nailed down yet .

Harry

Was going to say I had gone into EMCON but figured that would lead to a lot of head scratching…🤔🤔🤔

It’s going to be a beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! An Indian Summer for the next few days. You know when it’s going to warm up when we get an off shore breeze. Nothing special on the agenda for today. Keeping me company will be the usual lamb and with Fleet Week coming up my Navy Knife. 😀
