What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That's a Half Moon Trapper. The Moon Pie is the two blade.
Really nice knife :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

CSC's trapper is a little smaller framed than Case's. Size wise, these are pretty close to the Case Copperhead or CSC's own Pinch lockback.
Love the bone on yours 😍
Canal Street did some nice jigging. The blue rope bone came out of the Schrade factory.
Thanks for the correction, Half Moon Pie is somehow even weirder :D But then, it's calmer, full moon being for insomnia and werewolves:eek: What could be a Moon Pie? Or is it some American delicacy ?o_O

Your trio look very attractive, especially the green one. I have to root out the box for mine as it had description of the bone and some obscure stainless it's made of. This knife has been neglected by me for years, it's got a very mild pull consequently light snap but took it out the other day, oiled it and found it really pleasant, the steel is very good and takes a super edge, and no brass liners :)

EVERYONE is attracted to the Hartshead Barlow, Jack!:thumbsup: 🤓

That Grim Reaper shield is SO right for that outstanding coffin jack, Bob!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Macadamia Monday for me 🙂

That knife could easily turn me into a Macadamia Nut!!:cool::thumbsup:

The only way I’m able to keep track of the days is that Sunday I get the privilege of playing guitar live with a real good band, Tuesday is men’s Bible study, Monday, Wed, and Fri my daughter goes to her Adult Day Program, and Tues and Thurs evenings I drive her to her workout and swim groups. If it weren’t for those scheduled events, I’d totally lose track of the days.

I get a kick out of the youngsters who have to work dreading Mondays, and celebrating Fridays.😎

...

I have bought a few TL-29s that have been “improved”. Usually much worse than yours. I figured those were candidates for modding without feeling bad about messing up a vintage knife.
Now that I'm not teaching anymore, I definitely appreciate having SOME kind of routine to help me keep track of the days.
I was always very thankful that I liked what I did Monday through Friday much more than I liked what took up most of my time on weekends.:cool::thumbsup:

I'm not eager to try modding a knife, but I suppose there's not much to lose on some of them! o_O

Carrying my Charlie Lamb today, and Lady Luck gifted me another of Mr C's marvels for Random Tuesday :) I'm pleased with how they look together

Splendid pair of Charlie's creations, Jack!:cool::cool:

Going with this one for the month, seems appropriate. 😎👍View attachment 2342461
Bob & Todd, those coffin jacks are beauties!:thumbsup::cool:
Given my age, I should probably hunt down an example of the pattern to help me adjust to the idea of upcoming accommodations! 🤓
Bob, do you use the old "erl" from your change to fry up those sliced potatoes? Seems very "green" of you.

Hey, now! You're an All Star!:thumbsup::cool:
Congrats on picking up another chestnut jigged bone Case, Chris!
How do you like that medium stockman pattern?

It's a shame the BF search software isn't worth tuppence these days, I've made a few lengthy posts about Jowika over the years

https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/jacks-random-tuesday-carry.1706112/page-5#post-19578315
My expectations may be quite low, but I rarely have complaints about the Search function. I searched "this forum" for Jowika and got 7 pages of posts (although I can't figure out how those posts are organized in the list Search returns). If I search "this forum" for Jowika posted by Jack Black, I get 3 pages of posts (again organized apparently randomly). If I search the thread Jack's Random Tuesday Carry for Jowika posted by Jack Black, I get 3 posts.

Small Lamb and a Camillus Trapper Jack

Dapper duo, Steve; I like the blade etch on the lamb!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I'm usually not strongly drawn to most GEC patterns, but there are definitely exceptions, and those 88s are superb!:cool::thumbsup:

Three ducks on the wing.
Knife to make my heart happy.
Scrimshaw's wonderful.

Haiku for you, Vince. 🤓

S18 Sak and a Bucklite 424 for our walk this morning. Chair in the middle of the woods still.

Thanks for sharing your and Jack's daily walks with us!:cool::thumbsup:

Classy couple of knives, Paul!:cool::cool:

Jack, does one of the buttons have Mr. T saying, "I pity the fool who ain't got no Waboom!"? 🤓:cool:

Thanks kindly Gary...I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of the design.

I continue to be fascinated by your rotation.👌
I don't know about the taste from synthetic "erl".

Congrats on picking up another chestnut jigged bone Case, Chris!
How do you like that medium stockman pattern?
Hey, Gary! Thank you, sir -- the chestnuts are coming along quite nicely, and much faster than I expected. 😁 I'm super happy I settled on these after limiting myself to one "set" of Case knives.

I've exclusively carried single blade knives up to this point, but that medium stockman may very well be the closest thing to perfect I've ever had in my pocket! 👍🏻

Ol' Humpy on old Stumpy. Had to do it.

Ready for fall now. The bone and jigging on this thing... wow! I can only describe it as "showing off". I say if ya' got it, flaunt it. Easily the best jigged bone I've gotten to handle yet, I am smitten.

Got my catheter out today. I've already regained some bladder control and it no longer feels like I'm pissing habanero sauce. I'm feeling much more positive because of it. Thanks to all the members well wishes. It does help.
Drug out some non-military EO jacks this afternoon for a photo.

Porlock Weir Village in England.

On the beach no sign of Nevil Shute. 😁

Ive been sanctioned, someone's complained about some of my photos not being a knife (I think,I wish it was clear what I did wrong).

Meantime imagine quaint old villages, sunken WW2 pill boxes, lovely views and the sea. 😂

Also spam which I think might be something to do with postimage (apologise if so).

I am in a hotel with poor/slow wifi cutting out which makes it very hard.

The wood below my knife is trunks driven into the ancient harbour entrance.

Not sure why someone would complain, you always include lots of knife pics? I have always enjoyed your picturesque posts.:thumbsup:
