Yellow today...

Had one of my nephews up yesterday and we respooled the cable on the garden tractor winch that operates the blade for plowing/pushing snow. I carried my beat to hell and brought back Buck 112 for that but today is a town day and lunch at the Brass Rail Restaurant so, I'll carry this SS 3347 Stockman. Coffee only this morning. No breakfast - saving room for lunch.

@5K Qs Yes I think that's true Gary, it's of the Slimline Trapper ilk, similar to Queen's Utilty Knife or GEC's 48 pattern but with perhaps a broader handle? I think its name is Moon Pie Trapper- kind of surreal.... You get a long blade in the frame!

That's a Half Moon Trapper. The Moon Pie is the two blade.
Really nice knife :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

CSC's trapper is a little smaller framed than Case's. Size wise, these are pretty close to the Case Copperhead or CSC's own Pinch lockback.
Love the bone on yours 😍
Canal Street did some nice jigging. The blue rope bone came out of the Schrade factory.

Handsome knife! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
I know nothing about the sizes of British wrenches/spanners. Does the tool marked "12" have a 12/16 inch opening, or is it a metric size (12 mm?), or is the 12 just a "ranking", the 12th biggest wrench in a set of 20?

How do you like this USA Old Timer? Which model is it? Good-looking lockback! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
I'd read somewhere that Schrade planned to make some knives in USA, but I've never seen any.

Versatile pair of attractive knives! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Classy jigging on that one, Will! :cool::cool::thumbsup:
The knife reminds me of a Case slimline trapper; is that an accurate comparison?

Sensational knife, LT! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Jack, you and I forming a band seems crazy, but it may actually be an effective method of self-defense! 🤓:thumbsup:
Sorry you have to miss your knife show due to your recent illness. :(
My wife made it upstairs yesterday without me serving as her "spotter", so that's quite a milestone! :thumbsup:🤓

Superb old stag multiblade knife, José! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Captivating couple of Case classics! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Jeff, I think Randy bought himself some equipment for recording music and would do all the instruments himself and mix the tracks. Toward the end of his time here, during COVID, he had a lot of health problems that kept him home-bound. Here's one of his posts after he came back to BF briefly after a lengthy absence that describes some of his guitar purchases:

Beautiful old scout knife; that you still have your first knife is fantastic! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Winning pair, Steve! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

I can see why that would be a favorite duo, Paul! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Glad your surgery went well and that you're back to posting! :thumbsup::cool::cool:
Back on your bicycle yet?

We bought a set of Cutco knives from the son of a couple we knew from church. The knife seemed like high-class knives to us at the time. I recently noticed that Cutco is based in Oleans, NY, which I think was once the home of an American pocket knife cutlery, but I don't recall which one.

That Albers lambsfoot looks more impressive every time I see it! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

They are metric spanner’s so 12mm opening on the 12 and so on.

Here in Missouri we have to get automotive safety inspections every two years for cars over 10 years old, or over 150,000 miles. My twelve year old car got its first inspection this morning. It passed. I thought it would, but still...Yay 😃:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Playing poker this afternoon as one of the guys couldn't play tomorrow. I love 😍 the flexibility allowed by retirement. I did a Walmart run while I was in town getting the inspection. Cancer screenings, car inspections, Walmart, poker, pool tomorrow...my social calendar runneth over 😂

Took my avatar knife to town today. Y'all have a good one :cool:

Your Osage Orange is aging nicely.🤙

Vine.
AKA: Pole beans, cornfield beans, runner beans…
I used 7.5’ T posts, ran a wire along the top, and trellised with baling twine. It turned out to not be nearly tall enough. I had 12’ tall sunflowers at the end of the rows ~ the vines climbed, covered, and ultimately pulled them down.
Next year I’m going back to tall tripods. Cattle panels would be nice, but spendy.

I used to have some amusement with a pocket sized cell phone jammer. That looks like a more legal way to amuse yourself in line at the store.😁

Need more coffee…
Why are Rem and Win misleading?

Thanks for the link, Gary! Never saw that. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever ventured into that Lounge forum.🥺
I have a hard time keeping up in this thread.

Looks like I’m in a similar situation as RR. I have made a bit of $ repairing and setting up a few guitars ~ but it’s usually done free as a favor. (Most recently fixing my pastor’s bass guitar to make it playable).
I have several guitars in various stages of construction in the garage, from a stack of lumber to almost there, and any possible knife money has gone to guitar gear.
No kits from Stewmac, but I have several boxes of hardware and luthier tools from tham…
I had to buy some expensive gear recently to be able to play without an amplifier direct into the board at church, etc. But I haven’t thought of selling any knives, though. Nothing that would bring much $. 🤓

I wish you lived near me, I have an excellent guy that does what little work I need, but a good guitar tech is GOLD!
you’re doing the good work, Sir.

Porlock Weir Village in England.

On the beach no sign of Nevil Shute. 😁

Ive been sanctioned,someone's complained about some of my photos not being a knife (I think,I wish it was clear what I did wrong).

Meantime imagine quaint old villages,sunken WW2 pill boxes,lovely views and the sea. 😂

Also spam which I think might be something to do with postimage (apologise if so).

I am in a hotel with poor/slow wifi cutting out which makes it very hard.

The wood below my knife is trunks driven into the ancient harbour entrance.
