What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

It’s 4” closed. He calls it a native blade, but it really is a creation of his own IMO. The swedge is very distinctive. The knife as a whole is not something that is going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but this combo is something that I have particularly liked for a long time. It is wonderful in hand and impeccably made.
Thanks for the info, Jon. It sure is a beauty 👍

It appears that you are back to work as soon as you got back home my friend . Good to see you folks were able to get down there and back safely .
About the Puukko : Nancy asked me what I wanted for my birthday , so I showed her , and she ordered it . Then when she got it and showed it to me she said I could not use it outside and get it all dirty . There were a few makers that I could have ordered , but there was only one that would furnish engraving of my choice on one side of the blade and March is a long ways off . I still NEED a Puukko with a Birch Bark handle . I have it in pocket as I type . It is an inside day .

Cindy and I were on our way home from town yesterday and Cindy pressed the switch for her power window. Well, the window went down about half way and froze. Crapola!!!!!!!! Dollar signs ($$$$$$$$$$) started rolling around in my eyes. I called the local body shop this AM and was able to get the truck in. Turned out that the pop rivets that hold the actuator arms in place had of all things popped. It took the technician about an hour to fix it and it was only $49.00 so all is good in my wallet. Being always prepared as I am, and not knowing what to expect on this mornings journey, I carried this trusty CV 6231 1/2 Capped Jack with me. Cindy has sausage and eggs on the stove now - tasty!!!!

Thanks Jack.
Truly a unique duo today.👍🏻
Thanks Bob, I guess so :D Tool Man was so enamoured with the Gamecock that he asked me to order one for him. They're out of stock, so I'll see if he wants mine. Bit of a talking point on the market :D
Interesting Queen, hope the weather holds out for market day ! 👍
Thanks a lot Steve, it's one of the Chinese ones, obviously, but I have to say, fit and finish is extremely good. I saw it as an interesting pattern I'm unlikely to come across elsewhere
Have fun at the Market, Jack. 🤠
Thank you John, it had its highlights! :D

Potent pair of Barlows to kick off the week, Jack!:cool::thumbsup:
Thank you Gary :)
Thank you Gary :) Jack Black Jack Black ~ Thank you!I do love to travel, and going someplace new to me is certainly fun. It’s a big world. But flying, and renting a car is such a miserable ordeal, that I’d rather soend the extra time to just drive. As long as Vik is still working, she just can’t take off enough time to drive, though, so we had to submit to flying.
You live in a big, beautiful country Jeff :)

Another smashing pair :)
21 BF and Jack's HHB today.

One of my favourite combinations :)

Yep, that's a little Klein. I don't know why the tang stamp is ground off. Maybe it was a second? The original brown plastic covers were nowhere close to fitting properly. Wanted to try working with bone and it came out pretty well, I think.

Enjoy that big ol' SW today!
I think it came out great. Nice work, buddy.
Now, there are two beautiful classics, which sadly, will probably never be reproduced.
Love the Voos (?)Jeff.👍🏻
Thanks, Bob! Yep, it’s ine of my twoVoos Jacks.

Well Happy Birthday, my good friend.
Now we need to figure out a way past Nancy’s use restrictions!😁

If someone made a car with manual roll up windows, manual transmission, and those little vent windows, thay’d probably sell a ton.

😍
At least to us "old things" that know how to drive a manual shift, and how to rotate the window cranks.🙄
Definately agree on the vent windows. I think they were eliminated due to cost, so they making a comeback are slym to nada. 🥺☹️

P.S.
A vehicle without air conditioning would be nice, too.
A lot of excess weight, hence steals power and lowers mileage if on or off. I never used the mechanical AC in my vehicles that had it. I much prefer the 2-60 and 4-60 "air conditioning". 😇👍
(for you younglings who don't know, "2-60" and "4-60" air conditioning is 2 or 4 windows down, and 60 miles per hour.) 😁👍

Now that is funny Jeff :) . Christmas will be here before long and I have a Plan in the works . Says he who believes in Happy Wife Happy Life . There are places out there where I can get a Kauhavan Birch Bark Pukko and Jiki Jiki showed another good brand the other day .
