Thanks for the info, Jon. It sure is a beautyIt’s 4” closed. He calls it a native blade, but it really is a creation of his own IMO. The swedge is very distinctive. The knife as a whole is not something that is going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but this combo is something that I have particularly liked for a long time. It is wonderful in hand and impeccably made.
It appears that you are back to work as soon as you got back home my friend . Good to see you folks were able to get down there and back safely .
Thanks Bob, I guess soThanks Jack.
Truly a unique duo today.![]()
Thanks a lot Steve, it's one of the Chinese ones, obviously, but I have to say, fit and finish is extremely good. I saw it as an interesting pattern I'm unlikely to come across elsewhereInteresting Queen, hope the weather holds out for market day !![]()
Thank you John, it had its highlights!Have fun at the Market, Jack.![]()

Jack Black ~ Thank you!I do love to travel, and going someplace new to me is certainly fun. It’s a big world. But flying, and renting a car is such a miserable ordeal, that I’d rather soend the extra time to just drive. As long as Vik is still working, she just can’t take off enough time to drive, though, so we had to submit to flying.
Another smashing pair
One of my favourite combinations
Thanks, Jon.Fall colors are looking grand at the DF estate
wish MAM made them like this today.
Only stainless now.![]()
The spoon on the far right (mine) is a M&G Limited Edition. Just letting you fellas know ahead of time!
I think it came out great. Nice work, buddy.Yep, that's a little Klein. I don't know why the tang stamp is ground off. Maybe it was a second? The original brown plastic covers were nowhere close to fitting properly. Wanted to try working with bone and it came out pretty well, I think.
Enjoy that big ol' SW today!
Thanks, Bob! Yep, it’s ine of my twoVoos Jacks. Now, there are two beautiful classics, which sadly, will probably never be reproduced.
Love the Voos (?)Jeff.![]()
Well Happy Birthday, my good friend. It appears that you are back to work as soon as you got back home my friend . Good to see you folks were able to get down there and back safely .
About the Puukko : Nancy asked me what I wanted for my birthday , so I showed her , and she ordered it . Then when she got it and showed it to me she said I could not use it outside and get it all dirty . There were a few makers that I could have ordered , but there was only one that would furnish engraving of my choice on one side of the blade and March is a long ways off . I still NEED a Puukko with a Birch Bark handle . I have it in pocket as I type . It is an inside day .

If someone made a car with manual roll up windows, manual transmission, and those little vent windows, thay’d probably sell a ton.Cindy and I were on our way home from town yesterday and Cindy pressed the switch for her power window. Well, the window went down about half way and froze. Crapola!!!!!!!! Dollar signs ($$$$$$$$$$) started rolling around in my eyes. I called the local body shop this AM and was able to get the truck in. Turned out that the pop rivets that hold the actuator arms in place had of all things popped. It took the technician about an hour to fix it and it was only $49.00 so all is good in my wallet. Being always prepared as I am, and not knowing what to expect on this mornings journey, I carried this trusty CV 6231 1/2 Capped Jack with me. Cindy has sausage and eggs on the stove now - tasty!!!!
