~ Thank you!
I do love to travel, and going someplace new to me is certainly fun. It’s a big world.
But flying, and renting a car is such a miserable ordeal, that I’d rather soend the extra time to just drive. As long as Vik is still working, she just can’t take off enough time to drive, though, so we had to submit to flying.
Two years ago, going to visit the kids in Colorado, I drove out there with my daughter, letting Vik fly. Then, I was there to pick her up at the airport.

~ Harry, something told me you weren’t going to wait until next March for the Badger Blade Show to get your paws on a Puuko.
How do you like it so far? I mean, have you put it to work yet? I already know it looks sweet.
You’ve really McMastered the skill of symmetry and proportion.
I picked Delrin for the trappers and a Russlock due to not many other scales offered with CV at the time.
I know…
The ugly stepchild Delrin takes a back seat to natural scales when it comes to looks, but it’s beauty comes out when you drop it on concrete, and nothing happens to it
Plus, smooth Delrin does get a really comfy silky smooth feel the more you use it.
Can I assume this is your new M&G you were waiting for? Very nice.
What is the spring arrangement? Split back?
Totin’ doesn’t mean usin’.

Yup. Even though I personally use every knife I have, I respect those who try to keep some pristine.
I know you’ll enjoy that one, Alan.
I’m joining you in totin the big S&W. I simply love that knife.
Tell me about the smaller one. It it a re-handled Camillus or Klein?
Locking Knife of the Week is an Opinel No. 7 (although I seldom use the lock):

I do the same with Opinels, Gary. But only for a quick slicing cut, like harvesting lettuce. But be sure to lock it any time you’re doing a push cut!
anyone seen one of these
this is #173 all oiled up and the pen blade broken in with hundreds of openings until pull was reduced to a solid seven
Ok. Now that you’ve worn it in just right, never open it again!
