Nice! I do the same thing ~ try to imagine the original owner and how he used it.

It's one the many pleasure I take from owning a knife, How people use or have used their knives is one of the primary considerations for designers. Many of the knives we see here everyday are designed with a specific use in mind but the patterns just become familiar.

That knife is so thin and sharp, I thought it would be perfect for dispatching the weekly chicken for Sunday dinner.

What will collectors be saying in 50 years? " I bet you could cut some cardboard with that" or "flipping heck, I bet that got took out once a month for pictures"
