It’s a constant battle keeping out mice, Fred! For cracks, I’ve been using a steel wool like rodent barrier, along with the foam. And new windows throughout is helping keep the box elder bugs, ladybugs, and stinkbugs out.Mawnin' Bob! Your Horsewright and Robeson make a perfect carry pair. You get an A+ for knives today.
Mr. P, I know you know your knives are gorgeous and that's why you bought them, but sometimes I just have to let you know. Your NYKCs are, what do the kids say these days... Amazeballs? On Fleek?

My Wednesday carry. Everybody got a workout as I installed some much-needed windows in the basement and spray-foamed a lot of cracks. The Mustang did an outsize amount of that work, with aplomb.
Thank you, Todd! Thanks John, they are both great examples.
I’m very fortunate to own them.
How in the world did that thing get that lamb open?
Thanks Jeff. I was repositioning leaves last night too. Didn’t realize how chilly it was until my finger tips started burning after I came in!
Nice photos, those knives are full of character.![]()
The experts say that walking is the single best thing we can do for health and longevity, and a canine companion, like Jack ~ and Manny ~ is a gift from GodThanks Uncle, he is wonderful. Since retiring ,about two years now, my therapy/exorcise walks with him have been great for both of us!

Hey, Boomer John! That must have been a treat watching a master at work!
I agree on that thumb ramp ~ good control.

Last weekend, I had to climb the ladder and use Bondoto seal a hole that a woodpecker had drilled right through our siding to make a nest in the wall!
Gotta keep out those illegal alien invaders.
Thank you sir! I'll be around for sure. Been doing this for a couple minutes now.Hope your ears burn alot, Dave, cuz' people around here definitely talk (good) about ya! or in a kilt.kneeling out in the garden is no fun in shorts…
Utah desrves a doggy treat for guarding your trick or treat candy, Ed. Too bad chocolate is poisonous to dogs.Headed to town in a bit. Lunch at the Brass Rail - Ravioli sounds good. Utah is resting up again today what with having chased ghosts and goblins Halloween Night. This Bull Nose should take care of anything I'm likely to run across today. Skipping breakfast.

Many thanks, my friend. I figured you’d appreciate the 23!I wear shorts. Memento mori provided free of charge.
Yay!
I love that OT. And the big Camillus, of course.
An old house always needs work, sounds like you're further along than I am? Of course you know the tricks, like steel wool and bondo. The rodents luckily stay out of the basement ever since I sheltered a pregnant stray cat and she relieved herself on the (broken concrete) floor a number of times, and my inch thick stucco is immune to woodpeckers. But we have squirrels that ate their way into the attic, through a BRAND NEW cedar window seat I installed. Guess I get to install another :/ probably gonna dip it in poison or something this time. Looks like our termites are back again as well, after I performed 80k in structural repair all by my lonesome and had it treated.
. This will be an expensive poisoning.
Hope your day is as fine as your banter and your shanks, Jeff!

I was telling a feller in a Leeds DVD shop yesterday about how imaginative your Halloween costumes are!
Never spoke to the bloke before, but he seemed interested!

Bout a hundred years ago I had dinner there at The Brass Rail. Humongo steaks and their own in house wine. I remember a young man of large proportions plunking down bout 4/5s of a steer on a large carving table that we could see in the kitchen from our table. Then an older lady set too cutting off those humongo steaks. Glad to hear they are still up and running!Headed to town in a bit. Lunch at the Brass Rail - Ravioli sounds good. They're OK aren't they?Carrying this one for Thrifty Thursday. Not bad for an inexpensive knife, but it sure would look better without the shield.

I’ve got these two with me today.
