Such a great part of the world. Thanks for the photos!Took the day off to visit Boxley Valley near the Buffalo National River to see the elk while the rut was still going on. Missed the colors by a week. +View attachment 2378457View attachment 2378458View attachment 2378459View attachment 2378460View attachment 2378461View attachment 2378462View attachment 2378463View attachment 2378464View attachment 2378466
How about an oldie outa the ‘50s?Love my S&W Airweight!!!I've been told more than once it isn't an adequate self-defense cartridge, but those same folks have yet to volunteer for a live demonstration to back their theory.

I was going to ask Dan why he thought that you’d never dare wear those in public…I do sometimes, much to the wife's shame

Dang! That looks way too good.
Awesome, Sir!Watching it rain. Was gonna sit out in the yard in the sun but that's not happening now. I've got this Otter-Messer in my pocket and the Remington Prospector in a belt sheath. Sausage and ????? for breakfast.

Thanks a lot Jeff, I did, and was glad of it!Nice pair of modern day classics, JB.
I hope you had your Barbour at the market!
I remember doing the same a couple of years back!Huh. I just paid for a Gold Membership, and it’s normal again. I could swear I just renewed it, but maybe that was one of my guitar forum membership renewals. Sucks getting old.
So I can post my knife photos. Lucky you!

Work type knives. Definitely not safe queens.

Is the black death tin for tobacco?
I think it's a jackknife.Anyone know who made this penknife?
Could be, I dont know who the seller was.I think it's a jackknife.
Oh, sorry. Interesting.Could be, I dont know who the seller was.
It has three blades, the can opener is snapped off, looks like a camping type.
Exactly! its Really well made (IMHO), judging by the fracture grains on the can opener its a really fine steel, the backsprings are wonderful no gaps or anything and the blade shape and grind is superb.Oh, sorry. Interesting.
It puzzles me that people made fine knives without putting their name on them.
Thanks buddy!Terrific trio David![]()
