What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Oh, you’re gonna have fun this weekend, Fred!
Way back, I was in a great Scout Troop. Our Scoutmaster was kind of a badass. Not to us, but he was a Green Beret Vietnam vet. He used to have us sit on his back, and do push ups…
Years later, my brother got into judo, and when he mentioned the name of a judo legend he’d met, ir turned out to be my old Scoutmaster.
Anyway, I became an Asst Scoutmaster so I could go on all those camping trips with my Boy Scout sons. Great nemories!

Glen can do it all. 🤙

Thanks again, buddy!😉

First of all, have a safe drive. And don’t forget to lock up the house.
Last month we flew to Florida for five days, and when we got home, we discovered we’d pulled out and left the garage door open. Nothing happened ~ benefit of having a lot of growth blocking the view of the house, and living in s small subdivision in the country.

You can fix that proud blade by filing the kick there on the tang. Just a few swipes with a file, check… repeat until the blade sits properly. A proud blade with cut you!

Have a blessed Thanksgiving with your family, Mike.

Awesome hat, Mitch!

I love my 881s, but never noticed they called it Texas pattern!🧐

A gunshot very close by out back right after dawn this morning reminded me not to take my dog into the woods this weekend. The guy that owns the woods behind us leases deer hunting rights to some city guys…

Looking good, my friend!
Bringing out the good stuff.🤙
Thanks Jeff

My favorite Barrett..two beautiful straight edge designs.👌

Rick and Mighty Pen, the Cayennes are hot, but not insanely hot like Habanero or Ghost peppers. The only other hot pepper I’ve been growing are Poblanos ~ the mildest hot pepper I know of, and my hands down favorite.
I can get away with judicious use of Cayenne, but my girls are more sensitive to it.
These are all that i have left, and are starting to turn, so I’m drying them, and will use their seeds for next year’s crop.
I dropped the ball this year. Usually I take a needle and thread, and string up a long string to dry in the kitchen. Then crush them up for cooking or pizza topping.
Poblanos have great flavor! My wife grew some Fresno chilis for me this year (I am not a green thumb). I wish I would have gone with your drying idea instead of freezing the Fresno's, I have no idea of the seeds would still be viable after freezing.

My little girl does not like spicy, but her little brother might from his reaction to queso the other night. He went back and forth between saying it was "too spicy" and "I like it" in his little 2 year old voice.

That IXL is in nice shape David :) I once offered to send one to Lyle, but it was so snarly he passed! :D
Thanks buddy!
I'm sticking with the Peasant and adding my K'roo Lambsfoot :)

Great minds think alike! I have named the knives gifted to me too. The Harvey Special (lamb) and the Modoc Special (Case/Bose Stockman). Both are truly cherished gifts. 😀
