Yes. Every now and then I see a knife that is my definition of perfect. That is part of the reason we all scan these pages. This Red Stag beauty may be the finest GEC I’ve ever seen. Your knife is a lot better looking that the one on GEC‘s site. The red color of this one is so deep. Love it.When I saw this 2010 Northfield Mini Lockback Hunter here on Blade Forums it was love at first sight. I thought it was the most beautiful knife I'd ever seen! With a 3.12" clip point blade, lockback, made by GEC and that red stag... WoW, it just had to be the "perfect pocket knife" for my needs. Never thought I'd own one yet only a couple years later I found this one and it's been an excellent companion ever since.Do you believe in love at first sight? Is it possible that some things were just meant to be? Is Blade Forum an enabler?

Ya'll have a great day and I hope each and everyone of you finds his or her grail knife. Happy hunting!![]()
I can see the small clip coming in handy if you wanted to do a whittle of this or a whittle of that!Hi, my name is Soanso McMasters, and I am addicted to whittlers with clip point secondaries.

Nice pair of knives Bart! Sometimes for fun when I'm driving cross the country in the winter and see cattle out in the the pasture. I'll pull in the gate and see how long it takes them to get to the gate. Usually not long. These two today.![]()

Funny how friendly they get when you show up with the supplement.![]()
They see my ‘stache and they know I’m up to no good.I think they’re nervous about that mustache, Bart.![]()
We haven’t had our first freeze yet. It’s actually a molasses protein supplement tub for the cattle. It’s hard as ice so they lick it rather than biting it.Looks like ice on the water tank
Still looks good, Todd. My kids have the whole week off, thought you might have gotten the same.Watching “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” today in class and carrying this old thing.
Have a great day everyone!View attachment 2398833
Nice group today FC. I’ve had my eye on the Livri for a while but just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Kinda like a lot of knives I guess![]()
Another gray day, grabbed the Lessard SAK for some color (and the tools, of course). I'm "seeing another country" today. The Livri is new to me, I blame forum enablers. It is a remarkable knife, extremely light and pocket friendly while still offering a decent amount of *very* sharp blade. I do wish the blade didn't rap on the lanyard tube, first thing I did after cutting some paper was slam it shut and put a huge ding into the edge.Due to the unusual design of the mechanism, it's especially hard to ease close and avoid that rap.
Hope all Porchsters (that sounds like a European sportscar) have their ducks in row for turkey day. No fowl wordplay intended.
I knew I’d seen you post a bunch of different ones. Thats an impressive collection, DavidThanks Bob! Yes he sure does. I got six of them at the moment and will probably get more.
They could be belly deep in grass and they come running to see if you have something to feed them.Nice pair of knives Bart! Thank you Bart!I knew I’d seen you post a bunch of different ones. Thats an impressive collection, David![]()
Yes sir thats why. I've fed a lot of cattle in my day. I know how they are. Just having a little fun at their expense. They could be belly deep in grass and they come running to see if you have something to feed them.![]()
Thank you.We haven’t had our first freeze yet. It’s actually a molasses protein supplement tub for the cattle. It’s hard as ice so they lick it rather than biting it.
WHERE DID THEY GO!!!Eureka!

Thanks. Your kind words mean a lot to me especially considering how many beautiful GEC's you've shown here over the years.Yes. Every now and then I see a knife that is my definition of perfect. That is part of the reason we all scan these pages. This Red Stag beauty may be the finest GEC I’ve ever seen. Your knife is a lot better looking that the one on GEC‘s site. I absolutely did, no worries, cheers!I sort of figured that. Unless of course you graduated college and got your teaching degree at age 8, or my fever is a lot higher than I thought it was
Love Charlie Brown & Snoopy and all their old shows, comics, and books too, true classics
I do hope you know I was just kidding around with you, cheers buddy![]()
Can never go wrong with a SAK.And to keep with the Traditional theme, I used this instead of my GEC when I discovered a couple of loose screws on the gutter downspout this afternoon.
