What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

You're slinging some big guns today cowboy! 😁
Officially, my Case Knife of the Week is this chestnut CV Sowbelly Stockman, although my schedule has assigned me 3 other Case knives this week in other categories (not counting the Sodbuster Jr. pictured below, which is one of 4 knives I carry literally every day).

There are a "few" (only 8 counting the LM multi tool) more clipped to the rollator (or in the tote/shopping bag) .... 🤯😳🙄

I'm on a mission to age this thing as quickly as possible. Weird? Probably. Just curious to see how it turns out. Any ideas for speeding up the "pocket worn" look? Open to other accelerated aging suggestions if anyone wants to play. A "porch project", perhaps? 🤔

May be best for a thread of its own? My knife. Your suggestions. We'll see what happens?? 🤷‍♂️

Covering with Style, I’d say.
With the (well-deserved) popularity of Buck’s Lockbacks, this big Folding Hunter doesn’t get enough attention.
Sure reminds me of the big Schrades of this pattern…😉

If you’re not satisfied with the developing patina, which I think is sweet, you could put on loose fitting pants. Put the knife and your keys in the same pocket, and hop up and down for a while. Or a few rocks. 😁

There’s a perpetual debate among guitar folks over the practice of “relicing”. Taking a shiny new looking guitar, and applying varying degrees of abuse to make it look like it’s been played in smoky dives and roadhouses for decades.
Often, they overdue it, and it’s just sad.

Proceed with caution.😀

Both are stunning 👍👍👍 The palmwood, in particular, is strikingly unique. Just draws my eye every time you post it 🤩

Might I suggest doing a search for "shed" and "roof" posted by Modoc ED Modoc ED ?
You're welcome 😁

Thank you my friend.
I agree, this pattern was overlooked.
Yes it does. I have a few of the big Schrades. What I like about the old Schrades was the company produced the single blade liner lock variation. I wish Buck would have produced a similar version.
