Some of these quotes are almost a week old already. I selected them last weekend, I think, and have no idea why I haven't gotten around to commenting on them until now.

I have shoulder therapy in the middle of the day. I'll be carrying these around the house in a sneakers bag till then.
Ontario Morta, Case Finn, Ontario fieldcraft (short for bushcraft field).
Is carrying those fixed blades around the house part of your "homework" for physical therapy?

Is the shoulder problem rotator cuff-related? I know so many people that have had rotator cuff surgery followed by apparently challenging rehab. A couple of years ago, I looked at rehab exercises and decided that I'd start doing my own version of them as rotator cuff "prehab" when I work out at the fitness center. So far, it's working.
First a little fire as I read the posts.

Your knife pair is as fiery as the fireplace, Bob!

I really like the finish on the Opinel's handle.
Cool assortment of knives, Gary.

Nice run through of working man’s knives from a few decades ago.
Dig the big jack.
Thanks for the kind words, Greg & Jeff.
Remember when 88s were popular?

I remember, and they're still one of my favorite models GEC has produced!

(I don't try to buy GECs, but I like looking at them, and there are a few models that I think are outstanding and memorable.)
I like your gum fuddy Sod Buster Jr!

I like mine, too.
...
Nice line-up Gary

...
Thanks, Jack.

Your HHB and Moose complement one another well!

the snow is melting!
Splendid pair of Cases, and one of my favorite 4-word phrases!

Really like the Fishing Knife!

Its covers remind me of a kitchen table we had when I was a little kid; I think we had kitchen chairs with a similar pattern on the vinyl backs and seats, but maybe a different color.
GPS and smart phones are handy, but trying to plot a general route on them is problematic due to the small screens.
I like to be able to see the "big picture". Plus, paper maps never need charging

I was in Indiana last year and discovered that they no longer offer print maps

Best to just avoid the state in the future.
I'm with you on the maps, Mike.

My wife and daughter just slavishly follow whatever their phone GPS app says, but I feel claustrophobic being able to see only a very local part of the specific road we happen to be traveling. They usually scoff at me studying my paper maps.
Snowed lightly during the night but it's really coming down now. The weather man said we're going to get about two to three inches by mid-day. Not much and it's light, fluffy snow so for now it'll blow with our EGO leaf blower.
Beats the heck out of shoveling. I've got a Buck LT on my belt. It may come in handy to slice snow flakes. Sausage and eggs for breakfast.

ED, you're 80 years old now. When do you get to give up on shoveling?

I'll turn 72 soon, and was hoping that I'd soon be old enough to be exempt from shoveling and could hire some kid to do it for me!
Another beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! Yesterday afternoon was a total cluster f—-! I went to my favorite deli to pick up some crab cakes for dinner. I rode the R9 since parking is a pain there. I parked on the sidewalk and went to grab my wallet out of my MC jacket and it wasn’t there. I remember putting on the rear fender when I was leaving the house then I put on my jacket and helmet and gloves. I forgot to put it in my jacket pocket. I rode off and it was LOST! Called home and asked my wife to look for it on the garage floor and our street out front with no luck. Luckily I have my debit/credit cards on my Apple Wallet and was able to pay for the crab cakes. Spent the rest of the afternoon and evening canceling all the cards and getting a temporary license from the DMV. But the crab cakes were excellent!
First time I’ve ever lost my wallet and hopefully the last. Keeping me company today the usual lamb and SAK electrician. Have a great day folks!

Sorry it happened, and hope you don't have to go through it again!

Every so often, I seriously think about getting one of those chains to connect my billfold to a belt loop, and I've never even owned a motorcycle!
Grand photo of your 83, Chris!

Did that leather fob not work out for you?
Small lamb and a Camillus USAAC Cattle knife

Good day sunshine! I'll cast my vote for the cattle knife, Steve!

Sweet!

I should get me one of those. I picked up a Chinese 5OT earlier this year that I like a LOT, and I've always been a fan of the Uncle Henry Staglon.
minor ... tuning ... completed.
The sheepsfoot needed a little tweeking/tuning.
The kick needed filed so the blade tip would be inside the handle.

After closed. The nail nick is about 3/32 inch maybe as much as 1/4 inch lower.
Feels much better in hand now when using one of the other blades.

Also deepened the sharpening chole a tiny bit, making it round.

I haven't thinned and reset the edges to 10 DPS yet.
Nice work on lowering that sheepsfoot!

I like the size of Case's x318 medium stockman, but I've never bought one because I think it's crazy that the tip of the sheepsfoot is waving around way up above the liner.
Nice blade shape on that one, Alan!

That time of year is here. Adjustments are in progress.
Very nice seasonal knife!

...
Thank you, GT.
I was going to say, "Don't mention it, John" but actually I'm glad you did.
Thanks Gary. It gives me a little more choice without having to think about it too much!

...
That's the purpose of my rotation schedule, Todd.

I really appreciate routines and procedures that can help to reduce the amount of "thinking on my feet" I have to do.
Thanks.
I was told Roger's Jigged bone which is part of what apparently dates it to the 20's, but the knife is a bit of an anomaly because it's not marked but the sheath was.
I zoomed in on your photo and see that it's obviously jigged bone. The color sure reminds me of stag, though, especially some European stag.

Possibly my friend, though quite a few folks from across The Pond have settled here

I had a good chat with a feller from Boston, who lives near me, last weekend, and have a pal who settled here from Texas well over a decade back

Thanks a lot Gary, nice to see that Coal Miner will be joining your rotation

...
Interesting that there's some "retrograde immigration".
I have a couple of those RR Half Hawks that I like very much.
