What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I bought a blue railway pen for myself at the same time, did you find its rolerball function?
I did, it's a very cool pen, I'll use both functions
As I cant walk to far just now I went for a drive to a little cafe I know with a lovely farm shop out in the sticks.

Oops I didnt know it had shut (due to that illness thing I hate to mention),so against the regulations they heated up a pastie for me from the butchers counter.

Then sitting in the car listening to this brilliant radio station I found recently with a takeaway coffee ☕ and a Twix for pudding life doesn't get much better than this... 😅

It was my little Bunny keeping me company (thats a knive, not Bunny from the "special" agency 🤭)

Living the high life mate :) Hope you're able to walk a bit better soon
Sweet as a nut David! :D :)

I had wanted to fly to Barcelona in November, maybe next year after the operation.

Thanks for the sentiment.
Hope you get there John :) I've spent a lot of time in Barcelona, cool town  The start of May is not a bad time to go, lots of fiestas, festivals, etc. You could even take your bike over on the Bilbao ferry ;)
It was a good days to be outdoors indeed, Jack. Although much different than where I reside, your countryside is quite beautiful too and I enjoy the pics of it that you occasionally post. Very scenic. :)
Many thanks my friend :) I'm sorry thatI don't post pics as often as in the past, we have had an absolute awful year weather-wise, and I'm afraid I don't get out as often as I used to :(
I hope everyone's weekend is off to a good start.View attachment 2417948

Thanks Bob,
It was always going to be my steak knife (some time ago now) so I used the least attractive piece of flamed curly birch I have, I also forgot to soften the tang so it was bear to pein home. I am reminded of my mistakes every time I use it, but they are my mistakes, and its just like me-not perfect.

We don't go out for breakfast anymore, we stay home and eat the best breakfast in town. :)

There is an American tribe of indians that will purposely put a mistake in the blankets they weave.
As you say, your mistake, marking it as truly yours.🤠

The Navajos.
Very interesting Bob, thanks for that!

“But laying across all of that there’s a seeming randomness to it. Like indigo yarns extended or inserted for no apparent reason.

"This isn’t inaccuracy: the weaving is very personal. Actually spiritual. The Navajo feel they are weaving themselves into the cloth, and go where feels right.”
