Thanks for sharing Mike. I have also found out other tribes do it also.I had read that about the Navajos. I've also read the same thing about Persians and Persian rugs, hence the idiom "Persian flaw". I wonder how common it is worldwide.
If the darker colored items are biscuits, you must have taken cooking lessons from my grandmother. Do yours taste like smoke?
A wise man once said, "The only people who don't make mistakes are those who never do anything."Thanks for sharing Mike. I have also found out other tribes do it also.
So I guess all of my mistakes in life were ok.![]()
Very nice Gary.A rainy Sunday with my Eureka Jack. Supposed to get colder and start snowing this evening. Good day to stay inside!
Have a peaceful day!

My first thought was. "that sausage looks overdone", but I think they are English biscuits, i.e., "cookies".If the darker colored items are biscuits, you must have taken cooking lessons from my grandmother. Do yours taste like smoke?
Ahhh!!! The "cookies" reminded me of my grandmother's biscuits. There's nothing like a good fire alarm to start the day!My first thought was. "that sausage looks overdone", but I think they are English biscuits, i.e., "cookies".
Beautiful country up that way! Nice place to visit if you like skiing Whiteface!Very nice Gary.
I sort of miss the days at my cabin in Ray Brook....but not the bitter cold up there.
Enjoy your day too.

Big fan of that beautiful Cutco.
Interesting! I don't recall ever seeing it here. The closest thing I can think of is what we call "livermush" which is typically only available in the southern region.Ha ha, they are "Black puddings" its a traditional type of blood sausage, developed in Lancashire. Those pictured are not typical of the style. I like the ones with big chunks of pork fat in them. Do you not have them over there?
There is huge international competition to make the best ones, the Spanish style is awesome and are a bit sweet with nuts in them. Bury black puddings are the benchmark.
