What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

These two again. Northfield SFO #85 Bullet End African Black Wood Linerlock, and Tidioute #68 Pony Jack Ebony Wood...

Case large stockman with yellow pants and CV. Stag, bone and jigging have their own appeal, but I love the smooth, clean lines on this one. And at under $40 shipped, you won't cry (for very long) when you lose it or give it to a buddy. The hand-filling profile and large main blade are big enough for most tasks, but the knife still rides unobtrusively in the bottom of your pocket. Fit/finish and walk/talk are just about perfect on this example.

This is a lovely looking stockman. I have been really tempted by Case's CV offerings lately. I just don't want to go through the hassle of getting one that is not near perfect fit and finish, but yours looks just about perfect. I love the smooth edges on the tangs (something my GECs are lacking)!

Thats the first thing I noticed when I got this Case. The tangs on my Queens and GECs are so insanely sharp that I take a file to them before they go in my pocket.

I seem to be in the right place!:D

Both knives shown on my old sign painting easel, retired twenty years now.... (sniff) A good trade lost to posterity, damn shame.:(

Nice shot. I've two the same, one in stag and another in Jobillo that is a real beauty... Which is why I own the stag, because the Jobillo is as close to a custom as I think I will ever find (backspring flush in all positions, all blades, plus highly figured wood) and I just couldn't carry and use it as it deserves.

The stag version is getting some real pocket time, as it should. It's a great pattern, and aptly named as a "workhorse".

Here is my 79 that is with me daily.
