I agree, this thread can cost money to read through ;)
Just got this a short while ago, sharpened it up and it's one of the keenest GEC's I've had the pleasure to put an edge on, nice!

This beautiful #15 has been my constant companion since I picked it up two weeks ago. Today we did a lot of "work" in the back yard to make shade and stay out of the heat.

Great photo! I love the 66 Jacks. I just ordered the last Orange Jigged bone 66 Jack I could find on the net.

I've owned a 66 jack in Ebony and Yellow Rose jigged bone, and I have regretted letting them go ever since I sold them. Jack Black's photos have definitely influenced my decision to order another one.

Thanks a lot....I am loving this knife.

I don't know the answer to your question, but Gary's enthusiasm for that knife and his photo have forced me to seriously consider owning this pattern.. The new #79 Workhorse looks really nice to me as well.

3 individual springs.

I own (2) of the #79's and I absolutely love the pattern (it's the one that got me started on traditionals)! It's a bit wide but the blade selection is great, and it's built like a tank.

Yep Shaggy's right, three springs, sit flush when closed, not so much on half stops and almost on open, the center one being thicker than the outer two, it's a bit of a tank but it gives a solid heft when using it too, tempted to look for a stag one now but, this one will do me well for a while ;)
