Probably not REAL reindeer Gary,Todd, I know you're carrying knives in "Christmas colors" this month, but I'm sure I have a quite impoverished notion of what Christmas colors are (I can't get past red and green).Does the Case have covers made from reindeer antlers??

I don’t have any other photos of covers but I guess I’ll have to take a few more! No, I'm also clueless, unless there's been some technological advance that allows an instrument to be inserted in the smaller opening to get the same (or more) info that used to require taking the whole lid off.

One of these days, I've got to start a thread titled something like "Manhole Covers etc. and Traditional Knives". I've got quite a variety of photos I could post, and I'm curious to see "cast iron art" from around the country and beyond!

Ed, CS is Case's name for 1095.Back to a CV Sowbelly today. Haven't been able to talk myself into a CS knife just yet. Don't know what Case's problem is. Everyone else doesn't seem to have a problem getting CV/1095. I know, I know - 1095 and CV aren't dead ringers for each other but still I just don't think 1095 at least isn't available to the cutlery industry. Anyway, I'm sticking to CV as long as I can get it. Up early - 5:00AM. Reminds me of my old Navy days. Staying home today. Sausage and pancakes for breakfast.
