What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I used my Wicked Edge to make this 71 a pocket razor. It's helping me today with all the Christmas Eve honey-do-list items.

Thank you for the kind words. Bentonville does put on a nice Christmas display but they can afford it. If the Waltons paid their fair share the streets would be paved in gold.

Not being one to pass up a nice big sheepsfoot.... I ordered this "mozzetta" from M Fraraccio. It came yesterday and it's pretty cool. Fit and finish is meh... The horn is very nice looking and I really like the pile side coloring. The horn has gaps though on the one side. It had a super gritty action but is now smooth after lots of oil and working the blade. Nice and snappy now. Blade is off center and just about hits the liner.

Overall it's a good user! Very sharp. I don't think I'd get another from this manufacturer but I'm happy to have this one and will certainly put it to good use.

Ol' Humpy proved ideal for cutting wrapping paper to length. Did manage to steal a minute while the boy was watching TMNT to give these an oil bath. Knives aren't my only vice 😁.

Some tule fog today here in the City by the Bay! Looks like it’s going to burn off early 🤞. Heading down to Redwood City for Xmas Eve dinner with my son and grandkids. Along for the ride the Harvey Special and Modoc Special. I’m guessing we’ll be watching a lot of football and loading up on lots of snacks before dinner 😋. Have a peaceful Sunday folks! 😀🎄

I was stationed in Biloxi, Missippi when I was in the Air Force. We rented a small house that had a pecan tree on the lot. We would gather the pecans and make Christmas gifts out of them for our families in New York. Man I do like pecans!
 
I carried the old Sears, Roebuck High Carbon Cattle Knife, and my GEC 53 ‘lectrician to church. 358BCBB5-62DF-40C6-ABFA-51DE91B1E73A.jpegI don’t think anyone saw me set them on the pew and sneak a shot. I can be pretty sneaky.

Made a stop at one of my favorite places for a quick "reset" before arriving at Mom's for the holiday. It's moments like this that will make a man consider turning in his slacks.
