What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I've just been waxing a couple of my machetes. The one in the leather sheath was rusted in place like a Robert Louis Stevenson dirk when I bought it.

One more service to go today. 7:00 pm instead of midnight, mercifully. Time for knee exercises, shoulder exercises, and dinner before I get there early to find out where mics are needed for what.
 
This is what happens when my wife gets involved in taking pics for "knifestagram" - she takes about 20 shots, adjusting this and tweaking that, until the result is vastly better than anything I ever take.

I usually take a lot of pics to get one or two decent ones. What I find more impressive than the pic is that your wife is willing to take pics for "knifestegram" o_O:p

No knives to show today. Just feelings of thankfulness and appreciation. Enjoy the people you love. Embrace them, and their ways. Help them. Get to know them a little better. Appreciate their perspective. Try to be more of what they need. Love them whole heartedly. Merry Christmas.

Already Christmas Day here but in common with other Nordic countries, it is Christmas Eve which is the day of celebration, eating, presents etc and the appearance of the 'Christmas Goat,' (Joulupukki/jultomte) a pagan thing. Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas, Santa etc elsewhere
