For maybe 12 months after I bought this knife I struggled to find a use for it. For me, every knife has to be used so I wasn't wrapped with it.

It's now one of my more frequently used with its new life as my go to steak knife.

I stocked out the display case last night, it’s great actually putting some knives on display for a change. For todays carry I’ll go with a simple opinel 7.

That's a very cool display case, with some great knives!
If you don't mind a piece of unsolicited advice: I'd move the celluloid handled ones out and store them on an open shelf. I've heard horror stories about cell out-gassing in enclosed spaces and damaging other knives nearby in enclosed spaces.

Hey Modoc ED ~ our Weathercritters got it right today, except we’re getting more than they predicted. And I sure hope they’re right about the 40 degree f. weather coming to melt this off. I still have not put away the Cub Cadet because I’m still using it. Well, not using it right this minute…This Camillus TL-29 has visible carry sign on the black synthetic scales, but the blades were factory fresh and never sharpened. Before I got it, I mean.

It's a Sowbelly Stockman for the trip to town today. Still no snow. Lunch at the Wagon Wheel Cafe and then a stop at the Holiday Market before returning home. Don't really need gas (down to 3/4 of a tank in the truck) but I think I'll top it up just in case it snows tonight.
