What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hope you are mending well. Be careful using a beloved personal knife on hospital food, especially that red blobby thing on the first plate!

My first proper was a drop point, but I liked the clip Point better. But almost immediately after getting the clip point, I then another found one in S90V and carbon fiber. I thought this is perfect - I could have a fancy one and have a user.

But I never used micarta version, because I have a Giantmouse ACE Farley pre-sharpened and lanyarded by Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley as my modern user; so I thought the extra Proper would be a perfect giveaway knife.

Yeah, apple is nice and mild. I still have a few chunks left from my jonathon tree.
Otherwise, I just use what I have here.

You don’t often hear about ash for smoking, but with the massive die off from Emerald As Borers, I have a lot of it. And I’ve found it to be fine for smoking.
I do have a bunch of baby hickories that I’ve started from seed, and I figure I’ll have some good hickory for smoking in about eighty years.

My carries for Xmas Eve and the day itself. The 39 actually looks like an ornament to me, so it's been the choice for dismembering packaging the last two years.
The children were spoiled, again! Nobody got me those gift certificates to Horsewright I asked for. And if it makes you feel better Jeff, nobody asked to use my knife either. :confused:
