Rooster Cogburn and the Lady, Hatari and Donovan’s Reef are some of my favorites.Ka bar large stockman today. Mrs Crappie and the Daughter are going across the mountain to a routine Dr. visit today, so I’m at home dog sitting today. Maybe I can find a good John Wayne movie to watch this afternoon?
I'm no Siskel or Ebert, but I think the Searchers and the Shootist are good movies, as well as entertaining.Does such exist?!?![]()
Patch is one of my Porch favorites - I'm always happy to see you post this one.No rain, no snow, no nuttin. Gotta wonder why they're paying a weather person for nuttin. Anyway, it's a laid back day today and the weekend will be laid back too so, thought this "Slammed in the Truck Door, Shield fell out of, patched with J-B Weld" CV Sod Buster Junior would make a good carry. We,re all stocked up with goodies from the Holiday Market and don't see much reason to go to town for the next few days. Sausage and waffles for breakfast.

Yes it is. I've never tried it as I don't do a lot of take away. A friend of mine has reported favorably on it, but being a friend of mine, his taste is questionable.Is popeyes a chain?
Another rainy day here in the City by the Bay! Staying home and watching some more football games. Looking forward to the Cotton Bowl as my bride is from Columbia so we will be rooting for the Tigers!
Farmers Jack Friday and a Beagle to boot...

I'll be rooting for the Tigers as well, but won't be watching the game as I don't pay for my TV, and I have not yet begun to stream (apologies to John Paul Jones
)
So, its been an eventful 24 hours so far. I had a negative reaction to one of the vaccines yesterday. I've never had any kind of reaction to any vaccine in the past so I wasn't expecting it. Headache, chills, sweats. At one point the electric blanket was up to "7". I almost never use the electric blanket and when I do, I don't think I've ever had it above "2", so "7" is really up there. Then went the other way and got hot. Soaked through 3 t-shirts. Got up at 10 a.m. and other than being a little ragged out due to a lack of quality sleep I feel fine, so I think that's over and done with
Around 3 a.m., I sent an email and cancelled out of playing pool today. Since I was feeling pretty ok when I got up, I decided to go to town and play. I was about to get in the shower when the utility contractor showed up to bore conduit under the road for my new phone line, so I decided to stay and watch. The small directional boring machine is really quite an interesting piece of equipment. I didn't take any pics of itIt looked something like this:

This crew was only there to bore conduit under the road:

The second crew just left. They were the ones to actually install the new phone line.
Oh yeah, it did this last night:

And I received a new knife

While all this was going on I had the lambsfoot in my pocket. It did get used to open the Remington box
