Thanks for you're interest, friend.Mind telling me a bit about that Hammer Brand? Is it a splitback, or possible using a catch bit on the secondaries? Or maybe three springs? Do you know the age?
It looks fantastic and I’d love to learn a bit about it.
What a great looking knife that is, Harry. Fantastic stag, classy bolsters and the 43 is such a fine pattern.Since today ends with "Y " I decided to carry some Stag . Have to use some old photos from 2018 because it was a very rotten day outside .

Thanks, Bob.
Have you considered commissioning a K'roo Canoe? It sounds quite poetic!

Fantastic 5 for 2023 Peter . Your Black Plum is certainly darker than mine which looks more like Red Plum .
Very interesting story on that one and a nice knife too! Love a good splitback. Thank you for sharing the information. Thanks for you're interest, friend.![]()
It is a split back, tang stamp HB11 (model number I assume). The other tang stamp matches 1939-1941 Hammer Brand Logo but another forum member here did some research and believes it is post 2004 offshore made by Taylor who had the rights to the Hammer Brand name. I believe his info is quite accurate as it shows no sign of being vintage. Still a solid knife though with stout pulls, gator snap and nicely ground sharp blades that are nice and thin at the spine. The covers don't excite me though, kind of a gumfuddy like material that I can't identify. I picked it up cheap on the big auction site. If you see one there and the price is reasonable it might be worth grabbing, this one doesn't disappoint me at all as a good quality knife.![]()

Day four of the Moki binge. I inherited this from my father when he passed. He must have purchased it when he was living in Germany in the 90s. At that time he introduced me to Moki when he gave me a cocobolo handled Glory, which has seen a lot of carry time. It even went with me the first time I went up Mt Whitney (14,508’).
It's cool to see you and your dad sharing a moment such as this!Dad’s carrying a schrade walden 835Y and I’ve got a regular ‘ol post walden 34ot.

I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing your Mokis! Which is your favorite?
The stag on that one is great, Bob.Let the day beginView attachment 2443461
Thanks kindly Bart. The stag on that one is great, Bob.
I carried my 14 beer cub today. Putting grip tape on a skateboard tonight, I used the Stanley to cut the excess rather than the 14.

Thanks Jon.Thanks Bob!
I’m diggin that new Sao.
I'm a fan of the orange you know. My Tigers won their little Gator Bowl. Not a masterpiece of a football season, but not a dumpster fire to go 9-4.
Have a great morning!
