It's hard to beat a SBJ covered in all that chestnutty goodness!!I continue to carry the SBJ gifted fromChief everyday. Such a pleasure in my pocket and my hand. I have always liked the edge that Case’s CV will take but this knife in particular gets really sharp. I nearly got bit yesterday and it was like a razor blade, shaved a chunk off my finger but didn’t draw blood.

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Rough Rider smooth tobacco bone lockback medium trapper (thanks, Todd) that's the same knife I posted as the Locking Knife of the Week earlier this week.
And, as I noted a couple of days ago, my Lambsfoot of the Week is Cracker Jack, a stag lambsfoot that I posted earlier this week as my Stag/Horn Knife of the Week.
I'll modify my rotation schedule so that I don't have these 2 repetitions in the same week.

Beautiful slip, McDingle! Is that Clemson orange, by chance?Huge thanks toGary W. Graley for a quick turnaround and wonderful craftsmanship on this slip I commissioned for my BF knife from
DocJekl ’s generous Christmas GAW. 625E has a cost home now! I couldn’t be more pleased. Joined today by the handsome hempalishous 78.

Thank youGood pair of knives.
I have this one, but it has been foreshortened, (a phrase more commonly used here in relation to illegally owned shotguns and armed robberies!)Unlike many of you, I only have two Bokers. This Electrician, and another of the same model converted to a single blade Jack that @JohnDF surprised me with awhile back.View attachment 2446031View attachment 2446032View attachment 2446033
Great to see that one again JohnR rishma beautiful example of a great pocket knife. Would be remiss if I didn't shout out a thanks tozippofan for letting it go early last year. I carried it a few times and probably stropped it. Straight edge CV gets wicked easily. Glad to see it get the love it deserves.
Going to carry this beautiful forum knife given to me by Duanesitflyer shortly before his passing. To say it's special doesn't do it justice. RIP brother.

Like many important things in my life, that is purely accidental Steve!I see you are going opposite Black Friday, well played Jack !![]()
Sweet pairing
That is good news that Cindy didn't find any bears! We're home today with nothing planned. The wildlife in our area seems to be under control so I won't need a heavy Buck 112 on my belt today. Instead, I'm carrying my SS Ebony Sowbelly Stockman. Plenty of knife for whatever I'll run across today. Hash and eggs up for breakfast.

Only when its owner's heart growsIs it possible for a knife to get more beautiful over time??
So did I, but only one of us admitted we needed help and asked the great(?) god google.I needed help on that one.
Excellent knives David! Could you tell me more about the long skinny one (I don't know the word for this pattern, obviously)? Depending on how you feel about snow, feel free to send any excess our wayGood morning to the porch! Hope you'al have a good day. It's snowing here. Suppose to get one inch and there's already three on the ground.
I still haven't managed to make one stick here, Jeff, so I'm Bokerless if that makes you feel more knife-adequate? How do you like that Boker electrician compared to, say, this TL-29 sent to me by a generous and green-thumbed Porch member?Unlike many of you, I only have two Bokers. This Electrician, and another of the same model converted to a single blade Jack that JohnDF surprised me with awhile back.
Thanks Jack!Yikes! Two special Sheffield knives there David

Yesterday's carry, became today's when I woke up a bit late for Dr. appointment. Maybe later I change pants and treat you all to another picture (of the knife, not me changing pants)? Decided to reverse Wednesday's carry for Thursday and grabbed my biggest traditional and second smallest fixed.

The TL in its natural environment. No better tool for stripping the jacket off stranded wire has been invented, the TL rarely if ever nicks fine strands unlike modern wire strippers. I appreciate the thicker stock and synthetic handles on this one, it's one of my hardest working knives.
Happy Friday denizens of planet Porch!
