I have three of Jeremy’s slips. They are all great. This one has been in my pocket nearly every day since I got it. It came as untreated natural veg tan and has developed a great patina.

I’d take McDoormat any day over Bart the Fart which is what I got in grade schoolJust think…my kids would pay big bucks out of their piggy banks just for a couple of days of that snow. Great duo today
.
You bet it is. I originally requested front and back tiger paw stamping, but alas, not everyone is this universe is equipped with Clemson tooling. As you see,I went for the tree stamp. Gary does, however, have an extensive selection of very cool stamps…but not (yet) a tiger paw. I kid…no tiger paws were requested in the making of Gary’s fine work
.
But maybe I need another one with lots of paws on it
.
McDingle. That has a nice jingle to it. It’s right up there with the crafty middle school moniker of McDoormat. That was the funniest derivation of McDerment that my buddies came up with.
Really nice leather work.I meant to add this to my post earlier. Shortly after Christmas, I got a package from Jeremysbh06 in the mail. He sent me two pocket slips he made, one of which has my initials on it. I never used to use pocket slips very often (though that didn’t stop me from collecting a few here and there) until I got my Afzelia Burl Albers Lambsfoot and couldn’t bring myself to just drop it in my pocket with my keys and everything else. Now I have at least one knife in a slip pretty regularly, so these will come in handy. Thanks again, Jeremy!

Glad it help. Old remedies are often the bestYou’re right, I needed a good dose of vitamin C. My throat was getting a little sore and I was feeling run down, but now I’m good.![]()
Fine pocket worn covers Jer.
Thanks. I wonder who wore the paint off that Normark without diminishing the blade at all. Maybe somebody as hard-working as me.Fine pocket worn covers Jer.![]()
I love it.I have this one, but it has been foreshortened, (a phrase more commonly used here in relation to illegally owned shotguns and armed robberies!)![]()

Each TL-29 has it’s own little things to like, Frank, which is as good a reason as I can think of to have more than one.I still haven't managed to make one stick here, Jeff, so I'm Bokerless if that makes you feel more knife-adequate? How do you like that Boker electrician compared to, say, this TL-29 sent to me by a generous and green-thumbed Porch member?

Yesterday's carry, became today's when I woke up a bit late for Dr. appointment. Maybe later I change pants and treat you all to another picture (of the knife, not me changing pants)? Decided to reverse Wednesday's carry for Thursday and grabbed my biggest traditional and second smallest fixed.

The TL in its natural environment. No better tool for stripping the jacket off stranded wire has been invented, the TL rarely if ever nicks fine strands unlike modern wire strippers. I appreciate the thicker stock and synthetic handles on this one, it's one of my hardest working knives.
Happy Friday denizens of planet Porch.

Plan B looks pretty good also Bart, so does that little Boker.I carried my Boker barlow today. I was supposed to be up in the mountains skiing this weekend but plans changed. Instead I’m home with my son grilling sausages.
