What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

It is a cold and snowy day here, but man is it beautiful!

I thought I would return my brand new Swiss Army Knife back to its natural habitat. It is a SAK Climber and man I have been missing out not having one till now. I used to carry a Leatherman for the longest time, but my wife misplaced it, so now this SAK takes its place.

I solved that problem by buying my wife her own Leatherman.
Or I thought I was solving that problem…
She’s an interior designer doing in-home sales of window treatments. Besides having every square inch of her SUV filled with huge sample books, she carries an aluminum step ladder, a fancy laser measuring device, and various other tools of her trade. She is not involved with installations, but there are times when a SAK or Leatherman would come in handy. Or so you’d think.

I don’t think she even knows where it is at any moment. Probably with the Victorinox I gave her down in the bottom of the armrest storage bin, or ???

Of course most of her pants don’t even have pockets, and she’d never wear a belt!

The old Chexx today...

Got some snow coming down this morning. Not a blizzard but starting to accumulate what may be 3" to 6" by the time it's over. Staying home with a possible run up to the mailboxes for our mail. I figure that if the mailman can deliver the mail in these conditions, I can make the effort to get the mail he's delivered. I'm carrying this capped jack today. Sausage and pancakes for breakfast.

If the above picture seems to be a bit off - the shield kinda off, the focus not spot on, the focal plane (whatever that is) not set correctly, and God forbid the blade is all dullish looking and scratchy and messy - too bad, so sad. It is what it is. Kinda like me. Showing signs of aging and hard work through it's lifetime.

Wouldn’t want to see it in any other condition Ed…it’s awesome just as it is.
😎👍

Its not raining cats and dogs but rhinos and elephants these last few days and its colder.😅

Main road into town near me has been closed as its impassable with flooding. 😮

So I decided to stay in today (wimp),wet so stainless plus in house so can use one of my few lock blades.

I modified this myself so it fits the hand better.

Like a buck 110 perfect for woodsy/tough stuff.
