It’s a cold, snowy day today, so I won’t be taking the pup for a walk today. But it is stag Saturday, so I’ll be lounging in front of the fire with these guys

My only 4-blade GEC. This Cattle Baron doesn’t see the light of day much, but I was drawn to it this morning. Every blade except the punch has a slightly different stamp?!?

Snowing to beat the band this morning. Had the scanner on yesterday and last night. Several spin-outs, two rollovers and then about an hour after dark, a call came in from a Sherriff's Deputy to Sheriff Dispatch saying he was in pursuit of a gray Chevrolet pick-up truck that wouldn't pull over for a traffic violation - - pursuit speed 27 miles per hour on icy roads. I swear, ya just can't make something like that up. The pursuit ended when the truck slid into a snow berm made by a snow plow truck. Sometimes, our law enforcement in our area mimics Barney in Mayberry but they do a good job. Might as well kill two birds with one stone - What I'm carrying today and Stag Saturday so, I'll be carrying this Buck Creek Stag Copperhead all day. Sausage and ?????? for breakfast.

I can’t stand to watch Live PD very long ~ the drunks, druggies, and domestic fights are depressing. But on Friday and Saturday nights, when a commercial comes on Matlock or Perry Mason, I’ll switch the reemote over to Live PD hoping to catch one of those car chases. They’re the best.

I think the local sherrif’s and police depts encrypt their scanners now, so folks can no longer listen in on what their neighbor’s are in trouble for.
