A TV show on which they follow certain police and sheriff’s depts around on their calls.Jeff
What is live PD? Never heard of it before.
Thanks, Gary!I second that emotion, Mike!
Bob's generosity is remarkable!
Distinguished dark duo!
Wondrous wood pair, Jack!
Those white 88s look fancy to me; congrats!
(But don't drop it in the snow!)
Preeminent pair of pocketknives, Jeff; I really like the secondary blade on your electrician!
Our Pomeranian/Shih-Tzu mix thinks he's a mighty squirrel hunter, but he's not very much bigger than many of the squirrels around here, and I don't know if the dog would survive his actually catching one of the squirrels in our back yard. He has come close a couple of times.
Those jigged bone Waynorth lambsfoot knives make my heart race like I was in a snow shoveling race!
Congrats on your 3 vintage arrivals; trio of winners, in my book!
My eyes aren't so good anymore - does the shoe shield cattle knife have a WARDS tang stamp?
That's an appealing camp knife! Is it a stag Rough Ryder? What tools does it have?
Splendid couple of carries, Jack!
Captivating canoe!
Thanks for the kind words, Bob.
Congrats; that's a beauty! Is it stainless? What did Case call that bone?
How does Jack like the snow?
You can probably be like me, but I don't want to hear any complaints once you find out what "like me" is really like!
Thanks, Todd.
Bob, I hope you enjoy your first canoe as much as I enjoyed mine!Almost 10 years ago, I ordered a set of 12 Rough Riders (12 different patterns, all with amber jigged bone covers). My plan was to carry each knife for a week to see how I liked it, learn what it could do, etc. At some point it was the canoe's turn, and imagine my surprise when I couldn't get that pattern out of my pocket for a MONTH!
Sublime knife! Good to see you enjoying it so much!
Cool carving tools!I've seen a set like that here, but forgot all about it until you found yours. (Maybe
paulhilborn posted them once; I think he has at least one of everything!

It’s been a busy weekend! We’ve been running back and forth across the mountain to the hospital anxiously awaiting the birth of our first grandbaby. Thursday was a false alarm, but Friday night we were back again. Then very late last night we were blessed with a beautiful granddaughter. Both Momma and Baby are doing well; Son-In-Law is a little worse for wear, but nothing that a good night’s sleep won’t fix. Incidentally, he probably won’t get that for awhile.![]()
To make it more confusing, the WRA M1 is a Win-13 from the last batch Winchester made at the end of the war, and is part of the serial number range that duplicates some Springfield Armory M1 rifles from earlier in the war. I believe the barrel to be original to the receiver, but unfortunately there are several original parts that have been swapped out, the Op Rod being the one I really wish was original. Stock is birch which was what initially drew my attention to this one on the rack at the CMP. My favorite Garand, and it spent the weekend with me in the woods.Such a great looking combo! Love that old Winchester m1 about as much as that camp knife!

"high price HEAVY scrap metal"?What do ya call a logging chain when it’s not a logging chain?
If it's about the spelling of "Orders" I didn't make the spreadsheet! hahaEDIT: Disregard. I was just being cheeky.
Thanks Z- had to bring that TPine solidarity todayAwesome combo!![]()
Such a classic carry Jeremy! Have a great week.Hello friends. It’s certainly been awhile, and I hope everyone is well and had enjoyable holidays. Happy Sunday!
Been mostly carrying the cattle along with a modern lately; sometimes rotating in a 77 or 86.

That's just awesome though! They might not have matching numbers but they've got the right parts that got them back up & running! Glad to see those old pieces being enjoyed and taken care of!!!To make it more confusing, the WRA M1 is a Win-13 from the last batch Winchester made at the end of the war, and is part of the serial number range that duplicates some Springfield Armory M1 rifles from earlier in the war. They would both be hard to replace, but they were both made to be used, and will continue to be used.
