What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

321Bandaid 321Bandaid and @sunknife - I thought this might be the knife that was referred to!! This really was a forgotten knife that I was excited to find!! Edited to add - I don’t believe this knife has ever been sharpened or touched by a stone and I really don’t intend to change that!!
Yessir! That's the one. 👍🏻 My goodness. There is something special about that thing!!

Thanks kindly for that thread Gary.👌
You're welcome, Bob. :) Before that thread, I hadn't looked at my LPs for decades, having switched to cassettes and then CDs for daily listening as time went by. It was fun to rediscover what I had accumulated in "the old days". I probably have some Cds and cassettes around here somewhere that I could post in that thread without duplicating my LP posts.

What IS that your knives have been sitting on in your recent posts??
It reminds me of the top crust of a piece of shepherds pie, but THAT can't be right. o_O:rolleyes:

Thanks! They called it "Burnt Gray Bone".

Here's some better pics of it 👍

Thanks for the info and the additional pics of that striking knife. :) Looks like it was made in 2019, right?

I’m glad to hear that, my friend. Normally I’m a man of few words…
So I'd noticed, Jeff, and I'm a man of constant sorrows. 🤓

Yessir! It is, indeed, a 20T. I certainly got lucky with that one. I think all of the originals were finished in a smooth red/brown bone of sorts, but I could be wrong. Now I just have to find one of the original 10T (I think) Old Timer barlows. :p

You cut an apple with a plum? Nice.
Thanks for the confirmation, Chris; I think you're right about the original covers, at least on the photos I've seen.:cool::thumbsup:
GEC's #77 Washington Jacks seem like a direct tribute to that 2OT.

Thanks Gary. Its aways nice to have one's creative efforts appreciated :D
I'll bet it is, Mike!:thumbsup::cool:
If I ever succeed in a creative effort, I'm sure I'd welcome any appreciation thereof. 🤓

No problem! & Yes I believe so, I bought it new when it came out that same year. I'm still working on my Case tang stamps though 👍

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend :) Double Albers for me

Love the Smoke Jumper. I got one I carry a lot. It doesn't get into the pics very often but it's carried and used.
Fantastic pair that compliment each other nicely

BF ‘19. An awesome gift fresh in from sbh06 sbh06 . Thanks Jeremy!!! That saber zipped through my lunch apple with aplomb 👌🏼.

Glad to hear you are getting on well with it Jon.
Going with my stag Lloyd today. It's 13 degrees F out there, and we're getting some snow. It's a good day to stay indoors. I have already fed the birds, so I think that will be my only trip outside, except to check the mailbox.

That Lloyd is a stunner Gary. 👍🏻
Two great knives with you today, Pete.

I can find this one in the snow.
Been meaning to comment on how much I admire the handle shape on your sleeveboard Kroo Bob, it's *just so*.
So THAT’S my problem!
I’m pretty sure that some of my knives lower my IQ.
Problem? I need my IQ lowering knives just to talk with "normies" about knives. Must sink to their level first 😉

Mail call this week. very much pleased with the 29, going to use it hard. She rode in my pocket to a derby today, our Red Rocket beat the Turtle Powermobile for third place!
Hope everyone on the Porch is staying as warm as they want to be.
