I don't consider myself an enthusiastic fan of Barlows, but that KA-BAR-LO sure is attractive; possibly perfectly Primbleized!!
Thank you GT !
So there seem to be (at least) 2 kinds of cherry involved. Let's make it multiple choice. Which of the following best represents the situation mathematically?
A) Addition: cherry + 2
B) Subtraction: cherry – 2
C) Multiplication: cherry x 2 (or, since x can be interpreted as repeated +, cherry + cherry)
D) Division: cherry ÷ 2 (or, since ÷ can be seen as x reciprocal, cherry x (1/2))
E) Exponentiation: cherry^2 (or since ^ can be interpreted as repeated x, cherry x cherry)

Nice collection of Motown Metal, Rob!
Thank you GT !
Here's a photo of the front of our house a week ago. On the far right you can see a few hemlock branches.

Then I moved several feet to the right to take a picture of the house from the front right corner:

Thank you, buddy!Sawcut on those look really nice, Pat.
Nice Barlow, Ed. Have a great day. Sausage and eggs sound amazing right now.Rained all night and raining this morning so, it looks like it's gonna be a wet, stay at home, day. I don't particularly like this knife and don't carry it much but since it's raining and the blade is 440C stainless, I'll carry this SS 2AB Barlow today. Sausage and eggs for breakfast.

Don't fight it, Ellis! I love seeing pictures of that beast!
Really nice find! Beautiful stag. Only thing I find in my jacket pockets are dirty tissues & lint.Found this in a jacket, and transferred it to my RF pocket!! I love carrying this old thing; older than me!!! Schrade 2219 1/2GS!!View attachment 2469192View attachment 2469193
At around 100 years, it still has lots of use left!! My Good Luck piece is a $5 poker chip, contributed by an ancient Elephant!!
No worries, it will continue to see some good use and carry time. It is absolutely a huge knife, but I find that the tool selection makes up for it for me. The bottle/can opener gets used a lot more than I expected it would. Not just for opening bottles and cans, but other tasks where I don't need to dull a sharp blade and just need a sharp point. Example: cutting the foil off a bottle of wine before opening. Bottle opening works great, and no worries about the hard glass dulling a cutting edge. The punch also works great for unexpected tasks. The blade selection fits my preferences as well. The sheepsfoot sees the most action for opening boxes and cutting things. The large clip blade gets a lot of food use from me.Don't fight it, Ellis! Just seeing pictures, and researching the size, I can tell that it's BIG. I suppose you're right about a 3/4 size, but I can't wait to see one in person! Congratulations on having one! I'm keeping my eyes peeled for one...No worries, it will continue to see some good use and carry time. It is absolutely a huge knife, but I find that the tool selection makes up for it for me. The only downside is the size, but it really isn't that bad. I believe if there was a version around 3/4 size, it would be just about perfect for what I use.
I hope every day that GEC will reissue that #98 pattern soon! A beauty....Just seeing pictures, and researching the size, I can tell that it's BIG.
