What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

😳 I'm not sure which is more impressive... the knife itself or the fact that you make a #47 Viper look like a Case swayback jack. 💪🏻
One evening on the trapline I was heading back to the shack on my snow machine, racing against a really heavy snow fall when I saw this big white blur coming down on me,just like that I was almost knocked out cold, when I got my witts about me I realized a big white snowy owl decided to remove my beaver hat from my head,my hat was okay but my goggles got the worst of his Tallons.
That's a wild story!! 😐🤭

It was a wild night,20 minutes later using the beacon lit for float planes as navigation I crossed the lake heading back to camp I could barely make out a herd of caribou running,I didn't understand why until I saw the pack of wolves next to me chasing them.caribou running and looking back is a neat and funny thing to watch, they look really awkward, quite comical

Excellent picture of an excellent knife Jeff ! 😍

Beautiful photo and awesome pair of knives !😍

Carrying a couple of Barlows today. I know that @Modoc ED had a pretty good description on how he feels about the 2AB 🤣, but I really like it! I just wish it was in 1095

That’s a cool one, Jose. I love those Bokers with the animal bolsters.
Sweet photo Bart! 😎👍
Thanks Todd.
Clear skies here in Santa Cruz, some storms are on the way. And sure enough the sunrise was a good one. Since it is Tuesday I grabbed a single blade trapper.

amazing picture of the sunrise👍
Those Richlite barlows look so good. The Horsewrights always look good too👍

Case Wharncliffe trapper today.

With all the owl talk today I’ll try to post a video I took last week. I was riding across a field on a quad and there were short-eared owls roosting in the tall grass and flushing out all around. Hard to capture in a video but there were hundreds.

Edit: doesn’t look like the video shows up. Anyway, it was cool.

Handsome Trapper!

Good Morning Porchsters.

Went through my pockets and jackets getting ready for work and had half a dozen knives in there, I managed to narrow it down to these two.
A nice little GEC Barlow courtesy of Will Power Will Power , Thanks Will. And a knife I have wanted for a while an old 317, courtesy of Rufus1949 Rufus1949 , Thanks for your help with this one Bob, much appreciated!
Now which will be best for opening cans of paint. :)

Nice pairing :)
I'm doing well, my friend! January has started off a bit busy so I've not gotten in as much as I'd like, but I'm working to make the time! Good to see you. :D
That's good to hear buddy :) I know what you mean, I'm still trying to make up for the time I took off at Christmas! :D
A handsome pair, beautifully photographed
Too many great knives and photos to comment on, well done all around!

These two today. Bradford makes a fantastic pocket-able fixed blade.

+1
Todd, owls don’t care what knife you’re totin.
They were talking about one of two things, maybe both~
“Let’s mate!”,
Or
“Todd has a lot of rodents here. Let’s eat!”
"Whoo"? :D ;)
