Spent my weekend up to this point in my shop tillering out a osage Cayuga replica bow that I've been making. Got it done and shooting. Showered up and heading to the other end of the block to my brother and sister in laws to watch the game. Carried these two yesterday and today during shop time.View attachment 2492096

I've had a rosewood 72 for a while now, and it just doesn't give me "the fizz" (as @JonMcD would say). I'm going for a green bone! Yours is superb, my friend!

When this one came in, it had the slightest vertical blade rock, and I couldn’t stand it. I found out how it fix it; now I love this knife especially the jigging and the C Green.

Back down to the waterside, the floods have returned with a vengeance.

The Thames footpath has disappeared again as have the duck boards to the boats,the sinking boat has sunk further its now a submarine.

A short walk followed by a cappuccino and finnishing my Commando story book (we called them training manuals in the Army )

You have no idea how much i love SRV.

And yes I do like my Viper I remember seeing them when they first came out and thinking nah dont look right,I changed my mind.

The wife and I took the pup out for a pre-game hike this morning. We found a trail that we had never been on before, and it gave me plenty of knife-photo opportunities!

Sun was out felt like Spring so it had to be the Bunny today.

Went to another part of the river expecting the floods to have receeded,but the saturated ground couldnt cope and it was worse than before.

I got stuck trying to find a way though,I couldnt escape because of water depth and barbed wire fence.

Ended up walking to far taking a detour,the bench I had planned to take a break on was surrounded by water when I got there.

Further on a tree had falled so sat on that a while,but by this time I was close to collapse and on my last legs.

I know exactly what you are thinking you cruel lot...

Sigh. I wish programmers would figure out that "Better" is the enemy of "good enough".

Your comments brought memories of tiny parrotlet I got as a baby in 2002 and lived with us for 18 years.
I trained Kokito to do several tricks. He learned to fetch, "guess" under which cup the bean was located, put rings in pegs, play dead, ride a scooter.
I had plenty of time before our daughters were born LOL

This video was taken many years later in 2012 I believe and he still remembered most of his tricks.

Tiki, on the other hand wants nothing to do with tricks however she likes a fine knife with some silver and gold
