Beautiful knives, the harness jack especially! I remember that I had one too. Wasn't it made as a sfo, the same time GEC made a similar bladeforums knife?![]()

Thank you Bart, I do too. Mountains in the East on a frosty winter's morning is what the hamon looks like to me. I do highly recommend Tracy's work for a hard working handbuilt slipjoint. I use this one rougher than any of my others, it's quite tank-like yet still slicey.I always love seeing that LaRock. So cool.
I definitely have some extra pep in my step today Dave. She's the sharpest and prettiest in a drawer full of nice fixed blades. Thanks again!I can see the “cowboy swagger” from here! Thanks!
Thank you Patrick! The timing was bad (isn't it always?) but I've been following Dave quite awhile now, and when I saw this Cowboy I knew it was the perfect one for me. What was it Benjamin Franklin said? "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten."Nice pickup! I was drooling over that amber bone!![]()
Thank you Zhoovie! I *do* need a lever action, someone please tell my wife (without explaining that it's to match a new knife). I probably *should* have bought a new pair of Redwings instead of another fb, but the boots will be there later and we all knew that Amber Bone wasn't going to last longYou need to get a good pair of boots to go along with them & maybe a lever action if you don't have one
Edit to add: That's an awesome pair btw!
Thank you David. You have been a major enablerNice pair of knives. Love the Horsewright Cowboy!![]()

Love the scales on your modded Camy Jeff, waycool carry for a TL-29 connoisseur. Thanks for the advice, will do my best to follow it but the last bit seems lost on me so farA Camillus TL-29 I modded, and a Schrade 94OT Serpentine Jack in Trapper disguise for Tuesday.
Have a fine day, knife friends. Keep your blades sharp, your joints oiled, and don’t close the knife on your finger.
Thank you Will, I could not resist this color palette on a knife this size. Didn't want to resist, eitherGorgeous cowboy! Stunning bone there!
Thank you and Yessiree, it's a sfo from Charlie Campagna a.k.a. Waynorth . Identical frame and blades to the '16 BF knife. One of the best patterns I've ever held, imho.Beautiful knives, the harness jack especially! I remember that I had one too. Excellent!
Nice pair. Handsome Horsewright!
Nice work on your Mini MicraOne of the reasons I like the Viper, now it has patina and has been flushed and oiled a few times it pinches open easy, yet feels secure deployed.
It also looks darn good,I love the wood and the lanyard hole plus even though a Northfield its not to flash.
Its very good at cutting/scoring.
The Mini Micra I made weighs just 20g gives me a phillips, flat drivers, spare blade and a bottle oppener.
I like a few tools in the pocket and it means I can carry a dedicated knife and it without to much extra fuss/weight.
Lots of memorabilia in my she/garage/bike workshop the Mine sign came from a truck load I took into Mostar (Bosnia) at the hieght of the war trying hard not to drive down the dividing line
The little vice on a piece of wood I made 25 years ago when I lived in a flat and didnt have a shed, its been a big help its still good for delicate jobs..
Its excellent for working on the kitchen counter, not reccomended of course if your married and dont want a divorce...![]()

(I have also washed motorcycle bits in the bath,I expect all us old school bikers have).

Brilliant!Something colourful today as it's Carnival. Make sure to eat some jelly donuts today! Below is the most famous mask from my country, the Kurent. I don't walk around like that, but they're fun to see. They make a lot of noise to scare away the winter.

Ah yes, that's it, been a while. I remember it as a good one too. Should have been a keeper, but sometimes knives come and go...
