My example is perfect!! I'm glad to have it, it's my first modern Case Barlow, and won't be the last. The only one I have to compare it against is one from 1970, so yeah, quite a change. How is the Barlow??

Great pic Tim, welcome to The PorchMy large stockman n Grandpa’s Texas Jack![]()
Most definitely Steve! Are my six (with bifocals) ancient i's lieing to me, or is that really Taylors YORKSHIRE RED tea bags?!?
Good stuff. I am almost out of the loose leaf I have.
(it would probably "help" it to last longer if I didn't grab it first ... and I consumed less than 6 to 8 pints a day....)
If you've tried it, what is your opinion of their YORKSHIRE GOLD?
I think I like the red a tad more.![]()
Beauty, one of my fave’s.
Enjoy it buddyVirginal Safe Queens…View attachment 2503018As I mentioned the other day, we’re enjoying 3 days of having our Granddaughters here from Georgia while their Mom attends work meetings in Milwaukee and Chicago.
The oldest leaves for Spain on her senior trip this week, so she’s not here. And being a high school senior, she’s busy with choosing college. Since my son was a combat casualty, there are some nice programs available to help make good education affordable for his girls.
But the 16 and 12 year olds are here, as well as the baby ~ a four month old delight. Although Vik flew out when she was born, this is my first chance to meet her. I did almost nothing yesterday other than carry her around, change a few diapers, and feed her with bottles ~ bonding
Only the two older ones are related by blood, being my late son’s girls, but all four are 100% our Granddaughters.
If you’ve been there, you know.
Have a great day!
Only need one sitting around reading.

How rude of me...glad to have you showing your knives Tim.My large stockman n Grandpa’s Texas Jack![]()
Thanks a lot Tom, I think it's in Brisa's stable nowLove the super clean lines on your fixed blade Jack
These two in my pocket as I peruse stockman knives online. I realized there are a couple in my collection, but even when I carry them I don’t use them. Not sure why. I am looking at a large Case stockman in carbon steel, jigged bone, and a Buck 301 pretty closely.
