Peter Kay has a very acute and accurate take on family life in a working class Northern English town, he is also very very funny with his childhood recollections and experiences. Arguably One, if not the.. most popular comedian in the UK at the moment and has been for the last decade or more.
This TV advert from, 20+ years ago, is still one of my favourites (along with Phoenix Nights of course!) :D

That is one heck of a combo there. I had one of the tribals and really liked it. I regret trading it to my uncle, lol. I’d say there will be another in my future! What year is the blade forum knife from? Thanks for sharing.
This one is the venerated BF ‘19. Given to me by the even more venerated Jeremy Alley sbh06 sbh06 . My ‘20, ‘21, and ‘22 BF knives made their way to other homes but the ‘19 and ‘23 have been gifts and are permanent residents. The ‘19 is proving to be hard to extract from my pocket 😂.

Are my six (with bifocals) ancient i's lieing to me, or is that really Taylors YORKSHIRE RED tea bags?!? 🤯😳😳

Good stuff. I am almost out of the loose leaf I have. ☹️🥺😭
(it would probably "help" it to last longer if I didn't grab it first ... and I consumed less than 6 to 8 pints a day 🙄😁👍 ....)

If you've tried it, what is your opinion of their YORKSHIRE GOLD?
I think I like the red a tad more. 🤔

I decided to challenge myself to include a Barlow in my pocket each day for the next thirty days. 😊

Nice Barlows to start with. 🤯😳😁👍
30 days with a Barlow should be no problem.
A capable and sturdy pattern.

My Great Grandfather (1882-1974) carried the same (make & model as far as I know; he did have to replace it as they wore out) Barlow for at least 60 years from what he told me. I know that from when I can recall what he had (1958? 1959?) to 1974 he carried an Imperial Jackmaster shell construction Barlow as his primary knife. (also had an all stainless pipe smoker's knife he carried every day (along with two pipes). I don't recall the pipe knife brand ... if I ever knew ...)
I think he had a Prince Albert promotion Ulster Old Timer Barlow for his "Go to 'meetin" knife starting around 1965 or so.
