Then I'd say it needs to be a LOT more discriminating about who it's learning from or it'll wind up a whole lot dumber than it started!!!


Staying on task here, this was my picture for Mr. P's "30 Days of Barlow-stravaganza!" thread. Today is the third day in a row that I've carried one Barlow or another (I've done better than that before...), and I just happened to stumble across this old brass "3" which was part of the address numbers on my maternal grandparent's house.

This knife is too good.

I know

Actually I became more aware of this Chatgpt in a conversation with my daughter last week.

She is in college and sort of “confessed” to me using it to help her study. She sounded conflicted and sort of indirectly looking for my advice.

She told me how stressful is to complete the reading assignments of entire books.

So what a lot of students do is load the entire book on ChatGPT and request a summary of the main ideas … then focus on studying and learning the summary in preparation for a test rather than having to read the whole book.

It’s unnerving for sure.
The world is moving too fast.
I try to resist this by valuing tradition, family and time in the outdoors close to nature.
